I ordered my dress this past weekend and I am so excited! I am so in love with it! I found it at a bridal salon in Orange County, CA called Mon Amie Bridal. I have never heard of the designer but his name is Anais Collezioni. Now I just have to wait patiently for 5 months until she arrives. The pics really don't do it justice...it's s much more beautiful in person Don't mind the giant red clips...haha

Yeah I noticed that flights are really high right now...I wonder if it is because it is still so early. My brother's girlfriend works for Alaska Air so I asked her those same questions. Hopefully she can get me some good info and give me a little insight to the fares. I will share the info I get from her...just in case it helps.

Where are all my June 2011 brides at?? Just checking in to see how everyone's planning is coming along I have been so busy with work I feel like I have no time for anything so I try and get my BDW fix whenever possible...sadly it is not that often these days We finally got our website completed and all of our STD's were sent out. Although it was a fun project, I am happy to be moving on to the next! My girls and I went BM Dress shopping last week to see what's out there and they actually fell in love with some dresses and decided they wanted to go ahead and order....I was actually shocked that it all went so smooth!! They fell in love with dresses by Amsale and I am So excited to have this part done with! I wanted them to each be able to pick their own style while keeping the same color and fabric and Amsale gave me all of that. Love them Where are all of you at with your planning? I still have not secured my block of rooms yet but I am hoping to do so as soon as possible. 323 days to go!!!

Thanks ladies! Pineapple Bride: I used the champagne metallic for the cover only, for the inside pages I used regular paper in a cream color. I wanted something a little thinner than the cardstock for inside.

I decided last minute to go with Passport STD's...especially after seeing how perfect they would go with the travel theme of our E-pics. I contacted the same person who designed my monograms, Sarah Goff (Signatures by Sarah) and asked her if she had ever designed passport Style STD's. She actually had never done them before but was totally willing to work with me on them and knowing how talented she is, I knew she would come up with something great. She had proofs back to me within a few days and was so GREAT to work with....I am seriously in love with the way they came out. 06/20/2010 at 07:30 pm Keeping with the travel theme of our E-pics and DW, I decided that Passport style STD's would be perfect. What I used: Champagne metallic cardstock - Paperand more.com Cream color paper - local paper supply store Raffia - Michael's Cricut paper trimmer - Michael's Friskars corner punch - Michael's Scotch adhesive dot roller - Michael's I saved a lot of $ by having Sarah design these and then DIY the assembly/printing part rather than ordering the complete STD at around $4 ea. I am so happy with my choice! Any future Destination Wedding brides, you should DEF consider working with Sarah on the design! Sarah you are AWESOME! Yeah I was concerned about the same thing and wanted to have the travel info on my site but for now I am just going to have some sort of message that advises them to check back at a later time . I was originally going to do magnet STD's but I had a change of heart recently and am now doing passport STD's which are def taking a bit more time but I think they go great with our E-Pic theme. How about you?

Have all of you ladies already sent out your STD's? I was hoping to have mine sent out the 1st week of June but they are taking a bit longer than expected so I probably won't have them out until mid June. Hope everyone's planning is going good and your having fun

Hi everyone! Just got our disk with all of our images...soo many favorites!! It was a little tricky because a month after we got engaged, I had braces put on so I would have that perfect smile for the wedding I didn't want to miss out on E-Pics but I also didn't want my teeth bling to be all over the photos so I asked my photographer to just work with me and try not to get too many that were so close up...so that's why a lot of shots are more distance shots..nonetheless I love the results and can't wait to start using them for stuff like STD's etc. Enjoy!

Hi there and welcome to the forum! Have you narrowed down which resort you would like to get married at? Or at least which area/country? If you are planning on a March 2011 wedding, I would definitely get a jump start and nail down your date. I am a June 2011 bride and in the past few weeks, i have seen many dates for June being taken so If you know which resort you want to get married at, I would definitely get in contact with the WC there and see what you need to do to secure your date. You may want to first check with your WC to see what the cancellation policy is. I know that at our resort, we can cancel up to 6 months before the wedding and still get our deposit back. That allows some time to still see what rates will be like. So it was easy for us to just send the deposit and secure our date knowing if for some reason the rates end up looking really high, we still have the option to pick a different resort. Thanks We are hoping to get the rest back sometime this week. We had the whole Jet idea going since Feb but it was tricky narrowing down the HOW part haha...luckily for us, everything worked out nicely in the end and it was a blast! Just wish the jet was ours to take to our wedding
