Yes we're booked and it's such relief. we didn't get a good deal at all....in fact we ended up paying almost $1000 more than we had anticipated the prices to be, but in the end we were down to the one flight out of here on the Saturday, so there really wasn't a choice. The longer we waited the more we risked the price going up! Oh people can be such a stress....we had one couple here who have been bugging me to book, and I kept telling them to wait (hoping the price would go down). I sent out an email a week before we booked saying I'd found a pretty good deal with Air Canada and we were ready to book, what did everyone think.....Not a soul replied to me. And then the flight disappeared. We booked, and told everyone here to book (luckily there are only 8 of us from here going) IMMEDIATELY for fear that this flight would be full. Did this couple book? NOPE! They waited until yesterday. Seriously! Anyways, they are booked now, which is good b/c it's the Best Man and his g/f. Â Omg I can't believe how many you have booked! That's incredible! You know, if your girls aren't booked by the time you need to order their dresses, then that's their problem. That's the last thing you need to stress about. And the thing is if they aren't coming, they should just "man" up and tell you. I've been going through something with my 2 "best" friends....although I had held off asking them to be in the wedding b/c I had this feeling right from the start that they wouldn't come. They decided to throw a bunch of excuses at me a couple months ago as to why they may not make it, and I have not heard from either one since. I've decided the best thing I can do is just let it go. I can't dwell on this, there's too much else going on! Â I'm excited to check out your pics (i'll have to do it when I get home, since my work computer is being a bit weird atm). We booked Applehead Studios, and I'm super excited to work with him. He may also be doing our wedding which will be amazing....it completely blows the budget but it'll be worth it! Â Don't worry it'll all come together.....there's actually quite a bit I am still wanting to do, but am waiting till we know final numbers....so the last month before is going to be hectic I'm sure. Only 4 1/2 months to go!!!

Oh Thanks for answering this question! This saves me the headache of actually trying to get a WC to answer my question! Â I can do without hanging paper lanterns if it means saving some $$ Â

I hear ya! I'm tired of the extras that seem to be popping up and for such a small party (we'll have no more than 30 people, and i think that's being generous). My mum is quite happy to go set up some stuff, rather than me just not having anything! I'll try my best to get a response from someone and if I hear anything I'll let you know! Â

omg those engagement stories are sooooo sweet!!!! I'm so excited to have our photos done.....we'll have some great photos that aren't wedding photos which I love! And our photographer is amazing! I can't wait to see what they turn out like, and I can't wait to share them with you ladies!

YOu're so right, as soon as it was booked my blood pressure dropped a lot!! lol Now it's actually prompting people to start booking too, which is awesome! It's starting to feel real for sure now! Our engagement photos are being done on Wednesday!!! I'm starting to feel more wedding-y again!

Does anyone past or present know if it's ok if we "set up" our own decorations for our reception.....I don't particularly want to pay some huge costs just to put a couple candles on the tables!!

I've not written on here in ages, mainly just lurking...but I wanted to share that we finally booked our vacation package!!! It cost way too much, but we were in a state of panic as there was only one flight left to book!
