Thanks for this! I was seriously stressing last night while filling out the forms for the wedding planner. Ok, that's one less thing to think about!

My MOH and I are getting together tomorrow to deal with hopefully everything that's left to do ie: programs, menus, centerpieces, pom pom thing for the flower girl, etc... We also get to pick up our dresses tomorrow!!! So excited! I can't wait to get to Mexico!!!

oh my goodness....we're leaving on the 29th....wedding is Feb 2. I'm currently freaking out as I didn't do anything wedding related, well, for quite a while! You must be getting excited murmel.....or are you freaking out like me!??!?! lol

Hi Ladies! we leave in 24 days and well I'm starting to freak out b/c I did absolutely nothing the last couple months and now we're getting down to the wire!!! I'm sure this has been answered somewhere, but does anyone know if the resort lets you go ahead with a cocktail hour (part of the package) if you aren't willing to pay for the extra people (because honestly we have a bunch of kids, and people who don't drink....I'm not paying $25us +tax+service for these people). If they don't is the only option to cancel or pay for the additional people??

Congrats! We're doing the same thing but on NYE. Very simple ceremony, with just my brother and sis-in law who is also my MOH. I'm actually really excited about it, even though we're not really doing anything special!

I have had to defend our choice....and now we're almost 5 weeks away from it, and I have to admit I wish we'd just ran off the two of us. We're living in Halifax, but my family are all in BC and England, and FI family are all in SK. Having a destination wedding seemed like a great idea. We've had to defend our choice to family mainly for the past year and its gotten frustrating at times. We've had all of our friends bail on us, and FI family aren't coming at all. I've been lucky enough to have a lot of family coming, even from England, but it's been a bit of a let down for us honestly. I hope when we're there it still doesn't feel like that and we're able to forget about all the lead up to the wedding!
