  1. Josh Duhamel = Win a Date with Ted Hamilton
  2. shamrock= shake (mcdonald's used to do them and they were my fav!!)
  3. Jane Lynch = The 40 year old Virgin
  4. well trying the "similar to" approach doesn't seem to be working for me either. What I do find funny is that I sent a pic of a bridesmaid bouquet (so much smaller than a bride's bouquet) from a florist in cancun that quoted me $45 for the bouquet. According to Aurora a bouquet similar to it would be $240 + tax. Not impressed!
  5. Alan Rickman = Love Actually (love, love, love this movie!!!)
  6. We're going with Sweet Caroline.....it actually has meaning for us....it's the first song we ever danced to before we even got together (we'd just met that night) and he kissed me, and the rest is history. I had always wanted to use "when you say nothing at all" by Ronan Keating....I have always loved this song, but the song with meaning won. We've add this one to the playlist for the night though!
  7. We're having an ipod wedding as well! I have a set of portable speakers (Logitech is the brand I think). We're only having 35 guests with only 2 hours total to do any dancing, so we decided to do it ourselves rather than shell out more money for no reason! we've unfortunately had a computer crash, the one I had made my playlist on......so fingers crossed it's fixed fairly soon, or else I have to go about making the playlist again! We were going to ask people for song suggestions, but decided not to, only b/c I knew we'd get requests for the songs I definitely DO NOT want played and would feel guilty for asking for suggestions and then not playing them!
  8. Robert Pattison = Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
  9. You seriously have been a godsend to me right now. I'm trying my best to not start going bridezilla about stuff, but I am finding the communication thing between the coordinator and myself a little frustrating. Thank you, I will take your advice and ask for something similar to what I wanted, which was gerbera daisy's.....although it's funny that they are listed on the website as being one of the flowers available. Anyways, I will see if that helps. She has yet to respond to me as to why there would be an additional cost. I really thought choosing just one type of flower would make things much more simple and easy.....and in all honesty I don't really care, as long as they are pretty.....and look much better than the selection in the guide! lol Thanks again!!
  10. Just curious for past brides or possibly even brides to be who have already had decisions made about their bouquets. I sent in a picture of a bouquet that I wanted for me and my bridesmaids, very simple, just gerber daisy's in one colour, and they are actually quite small. Aurora just emailed me back to say that they would be $100US + tax each. had any one else encountered this problem??
