Thanks Ann! I switched it over into word and got them finished yeseterday, now they are ready to cut. I volunteered to make my best friends shower invites, as i am her MOH, and i did not expect it to be sooo complicated, but overall im really happy with how they turned out, can't wait to make my own save the dates, and pocketfold invites! Would be nice to do a friday, saturday or sunday, But im am flexible. Just looked on the website and nothing in that month had been booked yet, so so far so good, im going to keep an eye on it though. Did anyone do a wedding planning blog? Like on blogspot or something, i was thinking about starting one, so years from now i can look back and remember, how much fun i had planning my wedding, the good the bad and the ugly. What do you think?

Maybe ill contact Kelley next, week im gonna head over to the vallarta adventures website and see if my dates are booked, which i doubt. Im not too fussy about the day we get married so im sure booking in feb will be fine. Ill see what kelley reccommends maybe? Thanks !

how far out did everyone book thier wedding? Am i leaving it too long if i wait until february, Im sure a year is a reasonable amount of time, im about a year and a half out right now. Want to book either second or third week of feb. Should i wait to contact kelley? Don't want to bother her when im so far out, especially cause i think its wedding season still?

Hey Andi, Yes we are getting married in 2012, We wanted to have a long engagment, im happy to have like a year and a half to plan because i feel like there is soooo much to do, i dont know how you guys do it all in like six months,crazy. Im just out of university, and want to pay of student loans etc, before having a wedding to worry about paying for. I think you can book a photog this far out, But obvs not without a date. I am looking at the second weekend in feb. I havent talked to kelley yet, Derek wants to go for a site visit before paying all this money to book a place, he is unsure about , we go up to pv every year in feb, so i plan to get in touch with kelley in the next couple of months and tell her we are interested in having our wedding there, and coming for i site visit. Im sold, but dereks the type that needs to see something before he books.

Hey everyone! Im def going to get a quote from nate cordova- i was stalking his blog earlier. Then.... i went over to stalk Nathaniel Thompson's Blog and looked at the pics and slideshows of the recent wedding he posted but also an older one, Julia and John i think, And i am completely enamored with him! Anyone know his price range? Im expecting it to be on the higher end? Nathaniel- if your reading this i am completely enamored with your work!

kathy- I agree! Its pretty awesome. And we love thier work. Good price for all that photography but we have to purchase an album, disc with pics etc i think. So it may end up costing arounf the same as $4000. Who are you using? Your weddings so soon! when do you leave?

Hey andi, i am in the midst of making mine and need some help... Where did you find the blackjack font? it is not showing up on my powerpoint. and also how did you print them? I am getting married at lc and wanted to get started on these invites early cause i am not crafty at all, i would love to do something really similar , maybe just change around the colors a bit? Help!

Hey everyone, just thought id come introduce myself. I've been lurking around this thread and the old thread for a while. And after some consideration of other venues, we have decided we want to have our wedding at las caletas. It looks so beautiful. We have booked a trip up there for february to check it out and make sure, And we will probably book then for our feb/march 2012 wedding. Those slideshows from nathaniel are gorgeous, I will definitely need to look into him as a photog, we were looking at using another photog who has offered us coverage of the whole week,rehersal, engagment shoot, newleywed shoot, trash the dress for $2000, plus travel, and we really love thier work. And are having hard times finding other photogs who would offer something around the same price. Who has everyone used for thier photogs? rough estimates of price you paid would be great too, I know we have a while to pick one, but i want to do that before the one we decide on gets booked. I also have another question that maybe someone can help me with.... has anyone made an invite in powerpoint before i have mine all made, but i am having one heck of a time trying to figure out how to print it, we want to print them four to a page then cut them. What a headache. Look forward to getting to know you all !

Hi everyone, im so excited to join this community. i just got engaged on christmas day, Derek had just finished giving me all my presents.. or so i thought. He was like Hannah i forgot i have one more present for you, i hid it in the basement, so im running around the basement looking for a present for a minute, when derek, yells nevermind hannah i found it, so i run back up the stairs and there D is on bended knee, i was taken so off guard, i was crying, and of course i said yes! we are ecstatic to be planning a destination wedding for either december 2011 or feb 2012. We are looking at las caletas in pv, or dreams huatulco, Ill admit i was dead set on having my wedding in pv, but d mentioned huatulco and after my research i am obsessed with dreams huatulco, but also LC is so pretty and private, anyone with info about either place, espeically wedding pictures from dreams huatulco, i would be forever greatful for, as i have never really seen the wedding setup or anything other than the website.
