I disagree, we just got back 2 weeks from our wedding. The RendezVous lounge will not accommodate 50 people showing up there. I understand all of the challenges with the $55/person etc. We were just in the same situation and we had only 33 guests. What WE did and was so much fun was we had a bonfire. Its all set up by the resort. Its a big fire on the beach, they set up all the chairs around it and put down the grass mats etc. They give you marshmellows on sticks and chocolate and cookies etc. Its nice and private!. You also get your own waiter for the evening and open bar service. It cost us $250 for 2 hours. I highly recomend this as a solution for a meet and greet! Cheers!

Hello all......my fiance are getting married @ Dreams PV in Nov 2010. We just returned from Dreams last month after a great 2 weeks stay there! We are working with our WC Rebeca, and she seems to be quite organized. I do have a question if anybody can help. We will prob have around 40 ppl at the wedding and all will be staying at Dreams. We will use the "Ultimate" wedding package for $2700. This includes a nice dinner for 20 ppl. BUT.....if we have more than 20 ppl.....we need to pay an additional $55/person. How does this make any sense? So.....if we book extra rooms at the hotel....the hotel penalizes us and charges us extra $55/person for dinner? One would think that if we had more people staying at the hotel.....we would get a better deal, not a worse deal. Please people.....any and all thoughts would be great. Maybe I am missing something here. Also, any other tips would be great!! We plan on getting married at the gazebo and the dinner reception at the small pool area near the gazebo. Thanks all! J&J
