Paige, I heard that Coco Bongo is the going out bar to go to down there. It doesn't open until around 10, but I think it is pretty much open all night. When my parents were leaving their hotel in Playa (a couple of weeks ago) to go to the airport at 630 AM, the coco bongo bus was just getting back. I guess is right down town Playa.

Hey, so I was looking up my bridesmaid dresses online to see if I could see any real pictures of them and ran across this bridesmaid.com site. It claims to be legit, and I could get my 6 bridesmaids dresses for 164 dollars each (including shipping) compared to what the bridal boutique is charging (218 dollars each). This seems too good to be true? Any of you BDW heard anything about this website and/or used it? Please let me know! THanks ladies!

Staicy- I'd recommend just getting a couple of the girls into stores and trying some dresses on. You will definitely get a better feel or what you are looking for. Some of the dresses look cute online, but you put them on a real person and they are unflattering.

My aunt is a travel agent on the side, she books all my parents (and my dad's siblings) vacations and always knows the best deal. We chose the time we did because it works with both our schedules and our families. Kory and I are staying ten days, and his family can only make it the first seven days, and then my family can only make it the last seven days, and then we have family and friends doing shorter 4 day stays. So group discounts didn't really seem to work for us. But my aunt is keeping an eye on when the charters come out and she says its usually the end of May to sometime in July where she's found the best prices for December. So we are waiting. I'd be a bit more nervous, but we did this for my sisters wedding a year and half ago in Jamaica, and all worked out well!

Michelle10- I'm interning with Anoka-Hennepin School district as a physical therapist. So I guess its based in Anoka, but then we'll drive around to the children's houses too. Where in Jamaica is your wedding? Daily2o11- I used to go to school in La Crosse, WI, so any time I drove to the city I would see lots of signs for Austin! I am having my wedding at the end of December in Playa! I feel ya on the frustrating part, rates are just coming out for december. Luckily I was able to reserve my date, and the resort gave me an extension until May until I have to book and fully reserve, so hoping better deals will be out by then!

Its going pretty well. We have our date reserved, and they were actually really nice and extended our time for doing the final confirmation by a couple months (once you reserve the date, they send you a letter saying whether its available and then give you 30 days to book and fill out some final confirmation stuff). We didn't want to book right away, because we wanted to wait for better prices and they gave us an extension which was nice. Some planning issues with prices and private dinner options have seemed to be a little bit complicated with some girls who just had their weddings or are within a month or two from having the wedding.
