This will be quick, I am at work But wanted to get this up until I write my full wedding review. My wedding was on May 21st. We had the Mexician menu. It was awesome! Everyone is still talking about the soup, I believe it was called Poblana. Salads were great. We chose the chicken fajitas, I don't remember which beef and the fish in coriander sauce. I can't eat tomatoes and they has a salad waiting for me, how nice is that? They prepared us a signature drink which we had waiting for everyone when they arrived. When we asked to create one, they must have made 7-10 for us to try. I left a little tipsy from the tasting Service was great, no one ever had to wait for anything. My dad even seemed to have his own personal waiter. Overall the service was amazing. They let us keep the bar open for an extra hour when everyone still wanted to party. My dad really doesn't like much of anything. My parents have been together for 40 years. My mom has never seen my dad dance... here, he was on the dance floor all night. He wished my brother and sister luck on topping it It is the perfect venue! I can't say enough good things about it. Happy to answer any questions.

http://pinterest.com OMG I love this site! They describe themselves as a virtual pin board. Basically you add this little "pin it" to your browser. From there whenever you see an image you like you can add it to various inspiration type boards you have created. You can use your facebook login. You can follow people. See what other people are posting. Finally all my craft ideas in one place, no more sorting through my 1000 bookmarks. I can see all the pictures for my future DIY, baking, decorating, etc. So excited! I may love this site more than etsy? Is that possible? Enjoy!

I am using teal, aqua and orange. So I have some range in the blues, which makes it easier with finding things. Here are some of my items so far.... This is my fave DIY to date. When I saw these mini easels at the art store I fell in love!. Which lead me to the back of the store to find 4x5 canvas boards (cheaper than the mini stretched canvas). Also picked up some stencils, style I wanted wasn't something I'd normally paint. Overall took me a couple hours to paint them and to stick a little bling on I had left over from my centerpieces. Very happy with how they turned out. But also tempted to try some more as it was pretty fun. For those intimidated by the art store or painting like I use to be, these are some tips I got that helped me along my way.... You want acrylic it drys fast and will have great color. Get the tubes, it's thicker and better for covering the canvas. I like the little sample packs. That way I don't have ton of one color going to waste and can try lots of colors to mix up my own. But if you don't plan to paint again, just look for the small amounts of your colors. Use water to thin the paint out. Do a thinner coat a few times to get to the color you like. Also helps make the background nice and even. Buy the cheap brushes in a package, that way you get a bigger one for the back and a thinner one for the stencil. Don't buy a palette. Use tinfoil or a plastic plate. Plastic cups make great water cups for cleaning brushes. Even old dishes, don't clean them, you can later claim they are abstract art Protect your table with tin foil, wax paper, cardboard...etc Same with your clothes, the paint won't come off Let the bottom layer dry before you stencil (speed process up with a hairdryer). If the stencil smudges, use wet paper towel and the paint will wipe off if paint is still wet The pictures

I like the Jai dress. Looks like the combo of the two dresses. The ruffles and the rouching (sp?) of dress number 2 (which I love and looks so good on you) and then the little details of the 1st dress. Is this one out just because of the pictures?

This is awesome! I am also having my wedding reception at Kool on may 21st! Also engaged in December 09! Would love to hear reviews from anyone who has tried the food. It's really hard to decide from here. My wedding planner is also suppose to send me pictures from a tasting there this weekend. Once I have them I'll be sure to post them.

mochamakes3 - I am thrilled I don't have to change the litter once I am pregnant, poor FI, I have two cats I got them before we met. I read somewhere though if you do have cats you should get a blood test BEFORE getting pregnant. Still haven't had a chance to call my doctor. Don't really want to call from my cube when everyone can hear me.

Love this thread. specially since we just discussed last night that I should go off birth control...followed by a trip to the drug store for Folic Acid Been dying to talk about it, but also don't want people to know we are going to start trying in May (month we get married). Now I can talk about it with you ladies!!! A note on the Folic acid, check the box, a lot of them recommend you take them with food. I didn't know that about the thin lining hence miscarriages. That makes a lot of sense. A lot of what I read said that they recommend three months in case you don't realize you are pregnant, just late because you aren't on the pill. I thought that was a little weird. Clearly need to find better websites. i will look into the ones in this thread. Did anyone read about having a blood test if you have cats? I might just call my doctor about that one.

Just got back from a friend's wedding and I used my pillow everyday! My FI also asked for his everyday. They were a pain, but I am super happy I made them.
