    Thanks again Dolce!!! I did look at the menu selections for the plated reception dinner. They looked ok, but I didn't know that the Dominican style buffet was an option! I will definitely ask about that. I too have dietary restrictions (vegetarian), and some of my other guests as well so that definitely may be the way to go! Did you have to pay extra for a rehearsal dinner setup? I didn't notice that offered in the package at all, but I would like to have one

    veil has cascading edges and ribbon around the edge. $100 for both, I will sell them separately as well, and willing to negotiate on price! Both are brand new (veil with tags), nothing wrong with them, just decided on a different dress If interested, PM me or let me know your email address and I will send pics.     @ Dolce: thanks again! Where did you get your bows? I saw some on Ebay for pretty cheap. Did you have dancing at your reception? I want to make sure this is not an extra cost. We plan to bring CDs/Ipod so we can have dancing Also, I am REALLY shocked that you don't pay ANYTHING until you show up! I received my confirmation and booking number, but I am still a little leery about it since no deposit was required for the actual wedding package. Is this everyone else's experience too? I am 100% sure I will have way more questions along the way

    Thanks Dolce!!! Where did you get the mini packs of bug repellent? We were thinking mini sunscreen too! Totally unrelated, but I notice on a lot of people's pics the chairs for guests are covered with white chair covers and blue bows. Is this something they have onsite? Is there an extra fee for chair coverings? We are getting the Gold wedding package, so anyone who got that one and has tips of ANY sort, please let me know. Thanks!!!!

    Hey ladies, I am almost one year away I am looking for favor ideas that travel well. Did you guys have goodie bags for your guests, or just one favor? Basically we want somthing that is travel friendly and wont take up TOO much room in our luggage. Ideas Thanks

    Hey bikegirl, sorry for the delay. We did go through a travel agent and our contract is signed and date is set! Not sure where you are located, but she is based out of Austin, TX and she is PHENOMENAL the agency is called Vacations in Paradise if you want to check her out (hint hint)

    Hey Boston, a little more than a year away for me!!! I LOVED your decor! Was that provided by Excellence? How much did you provide? Also, did the resort staff take any photos for you, if so do you have samples of those? I do not have a private photographer, but I want great pics too!!!

    Hello all! Thank you for all of our input! So we decided on the Excellence, you get a TON of stuff in their gold package. And they kind of sold me with the whole getting brought in by a horse drawn carriage bit!!! I also got a killer rate of $141 per night for us and our guests, they have really good reviews on TA too. All of the other resorts didn't seem to have as many amenities in their wedding packages, check them out!

    Hello Boston, I emailed you from tripadvisor, once again great advice! So you recommend the silver and not the gold package? Don't you have to pay an additional fee to the resort for an outside photographer?

    We are selecting the Gold package but it seems our guestlist is growing over to over the 20 people that are allowed. I notice that it is $45 per person for over 20 people. Has anyone had this issue? I want to make sure the food/service is worth the extra expense. If not, we will step down to a lower package and maybe just plan to eat together at one of the restaurants since everyone will be already paid for. Is that tacky?

    I noticed a lot of brides on the DR thread had parasols for their BMs. For those who had/are having them, where did you order yours from? There are tons of sites on the web but I want to know which ones are best.
