  1. Thanks ladies! It was SO wild too because the dress fit like a glove at a size 8 with no alterations necessary. This dress was waiting for me Of course I am still wearing spanx to smooth the midsection squishies a little...

I forgot to mention the BEST part, hope you are sitting down ladies...This dress was onlt $34!!! Regular $306, check out the tag
  3. I am also 32 and would love to start trying sooner than later, my clock is ticking!!! But the FI is not all that excited about trying right away, and neither is my pocketbook to be honest...
  4. i figure that they could have free time/time on their own while we are rehearsing and having dinner. I do not want to tie up ALL of their time. I want to allow plenty of time for beach bumming and enjoying what they want to do too! I figure we have them all day with group stuff on Saturday, so Sunday give them a break the day before the big soiree and let them do their own thang!
  5. Ohhhh we are actually practicing the whole thing too on Sunday, so that is why the dinner is after. True, if there is no rehearsal, then why have a dinner? Makes sense Tlseege
  6. Same with us, to avoid the residency requirement and all of that brouhaha we are doing the courthouse thing like the week before, but not exchanging rings or the other wedding night stuff (may be TMI). We are doing the "traditional" vows at the courthouse, and writing our own for our wedding in the DR, which neither of us will see beforehand. So there will be a fresh excitement in the DR because we will hear vows that the other person wrote, get rings, and have a "honeymoon"
  7. Well rehearsal dinner is only for the wedding party, I should have put that in there, my bad. So the welcome reception is for everyone. As for the group activity, we are planning a scavenger hunt around the resort and a volleyball game! We did not ask what people would like to do, because with 30+ people's input it could get messy, so whoever is down to participate can.
  8. I say try to get a TA, may alleviate some of these issues, not to mention a better rate!
  9. I would NOT be worried honestly, or jealous! He will be looking YOU in the eye and saying "I do" believe me bachelor parties are usually for the other people anyway and not the groom. We have no control over whet the guys decide for the bachelor party, but on the flip side, they have no control over what our BMs do for us either
  10. I also PM'd you about some stuff...
  11. Maybe I will do the same, but I was thinking that I wanted to do something with our parents only that morning. Who knows, I sitll have time to decide
  12. I am also more than happy to provide assistance. I am an attorney, but need more information please
  13. Thanks gazziegirl that one is perfect!!!

  16. LOL Yea you are right about McSteamy: nice eye candy, but I am a McDreamy fan What can I say, I like the nice guys! But truth be told I liked Patrick Dempsey since those cheesy 80s flicks he used to do. What was the name of that movie where he played that male gigolo character and he would go and work it out with married women who were unhappy? I will never forget his character was named "Woo Woo Wisecarver" LMAO
  17. Ok i LOVE it! I am totally doing this for our guestbook! Thanks
  18. Mine is! We will stay at Excellence three additional nights after the wedding for a total of 7 nights/8 days
