You should check out Mexican Wedding Photos (link on the ads here), they have a few AB and AS weddings to view. Also, the wedding pix on this site from other brides even at other resorts and outside of Mexico I found helpdful. I think I over looked at pictures when I was too early in the planning process and confused the hell out of myself. I changed my mind like every day. Now I am doing simple white sheets on the wedding chuuppah and white Gladiolas in big vases at the base of the front posts. Wooden wedding plank and uncovered chairs without bows. I think I am going for the simple look? I really wish I had a theme.... I saw Alice in Wonderland last night and thought that would be an awesome theme for a wedding - esp if you had little cup cakes for the cake and little bottles of tequila for the favors. Did you see the new Alice in Wonderland? My FI & I were looking at previews and thought the movie looked great. That would make a great theme. You could have a tea party for your shower. I am also going very simple b/c that is what we want and the extra added money. We are just having a white sheet for the wedding and our chairs are uncovered w/no bows. I actually like that look besides the background of Mexico will be the best decoration we could ask for. So lets hope for no rain.

I have seen brides do both and they say when they got DJ's they were s much fun. I would assume the $500 would also apply to the outside DJ.

    Hi!

Welcome. This site is great. I never blogged before now I come home everyday and check the site.
  12. Hey girls. I am giving Jillian Michaels workout a try first b/c a friend gave it to me but how much does the P90X DVD's cost and how long are each workout.
  13. Congrats Mrs.... You did that so fast. Good for you! Sometimes having less time to worry about the little things is so much better.
  14. My biggest stress was choosing a resort. This gave me a head ache for months. Now that I have one picked, it is getting people booked that are coming. Why do they have to wait to the last minute.
  15. You can do it. Just put your mind to it and think of how awesome you will look. I have 10 more pounds bf July to go.
  16. The El Dorado's have a free wedding package that include some nice touches for the bride & groom

I have NOT even THOUGHT about the wedding in 2 weeks. I am SO SO SO behind. I am actually on the plane now, as we speak. but anyways, that's why I have been MIA...Does anyone have any advice on how to manage all of this? AND work out?? YIKES!!!! I am so sorry that you girls have been having drama with the hotel. Just remember, every bride goes through it and ends up having the most fabulous wedding ever. I think every resort has it's flaws and definitely has communication problems. It seems a lot of things get lost in the shuffle. Just remember to bring ALL of your documents, computer, etc to show the onsite coordinator everything that had been negotiated. I am glad things are going more smoothly now. Does anyone need FABIO's contact info? I have it if you do (even though I realize I am about a week too late!) ha. Congrats to all the new brides and welcome!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the new promotion. The traveling part sounds like so much fun. The only way I can juggle everything is to make a list and try to fit a few things in at once. I am such a dork on Saturday's when I am off and have lots to do. I map out my entire day on how I am going to get it all done.
