I just got my sand ceremony and guestbook (well guestplate) in the mail yesterday! And had my first fitting!! I wish it was closer to my day especially after seeing the pictures!!!

Congrats sap!! LOVE the pics!!! Makes me so happy we chose this resort! Everytime I see pics, it makes me anxious for my day! I mean....our day! I had never considered hiring DJ Mannia....I checked out their website and cannot find costs anywhere. Could you give me a rough idea of what they charge?

Thanks Tracy for the Sand Ceremony script! I will have to show it to my Mike later! Did you write your ceremony one too? We actually do get warm weather here sometimes! (30 degrees sometimes!) But it also changes SO quickly....the line is you blink and the weather changes! We definitely don't have the same humidity that you guys do out east!

Hey All! Hope you guys are having better weather than we are here!! Where the heck is summer?? Anyways, I am excited because I have now ordered my Sand Ceremony stuff and my guestbook and have booked the date for my first fitting!! I guess now I have to figure out what to have someone say during the sand ceremony and I guess what to say during the actual renewal of vows ceremony! I am worried about having to write it myself. :S (And I still have to do a bunch of other things....for my sanity I am glad I am doing a DW!)

Congrats sap and welcome back sungoddess!!! Hearing about your wedding sungoddess makes me excited for mine! I am also doing the renewal of vows and am happy to hear she has a paper for you to sign! Who performs the ceremony? Carolina? And do you have to write your own ceremony?? My FI really doesn't want to write our own vows and I am not sure how the renewal ceremony goes!

I just listened to Heartland's "I Loved her First" and burst into tears! I may have to use that song!! Great thread! Thanks for the ideas!!

Well I emailed Carolina and got good news and bad news! The good is that it only took her a day to email me back....I was shocked. The bad is that she said for 2011 in order to have the private beach party you have to have a minimum of 20 guests. I am really worried I won't have 20 guests! What do I do if I can't have the beach party I wanted? Sigh. I suppose no matter what I do, it will work out. At least that's what I am telling myself! In other news, my engagement pictures got rescheduled and good thing too because I got nailed in the face at a softball tournament the day before we were going to have the pictures!! You can see the imprint of the stitches of the ball on my chin. Very attractive!

Good question!! I am debating whether or not to have a corset put into my dress or leave it as a zipper. I never thought about the modesty panel!

Quick Question...what kind of things have you guys been emailing Carolina? Should I be emailing her to tell her which package I want and that I want the beach party? I thought most of the other things can be picked when I get down there. Just wanna check if I am missing anything!! In other news, I bought my heels for the ceremony yesterday! I love green so my shoes are stiletto emerald green heels! Now I have to learn to walk in them!

And I am glad to hear you are feeling ok after your surgery! My wedding plans are sorta at a stand still right now. I have the dress, I have booked a photographer (engagement pics at the end of the month!), and the invites are out. I guess I should decide what the boys should wear? I feel like there's more I should be doing, but I don't know what it is I should be doing!!! I also don't know if I will even get 20 people and I think you have to have that many for the beach party? We wanted to do the semi private reception and then the beach party but I don't know if that is going to happen.
