That will be over $100 pp, plus $25 for each kiddo, so a typical family of 4 will cost me around $250 with service fees and tax. Now,that hurts!! Sorry! I somehow posted my response under the wrong posting! I meant to put it in with the whole $20 dinner thing! Oops!

On a different note, I was just told by Aurora that for 2010 you won't be able to order from the $20 menu. I was told you have to pay the $750 private event fee, and then still have to order from the $55 or $65 menu. Anyone else hearing this?

We have been looking at the Ultimate package, but after reading your review the free one sounds like the way to go! Thank you for the full breakdown of your costs...it helps so much! btw...I just sent an email to Landy and Aurora regarding many things (sparklers, lights in the pool, etc)...I will share their response once Ihear back. Happy New Year to everyone! Hi Girls! I just got a response from Aurora stating I could hire my own DJ, but no sparklers or "cold fireworks" are allowed. Bummer!!! Have they been used there before??
  7. Thank You, tkolman 773!! I too have the Ultimate package booked, but would love to save some money if the wedding turns out beautifully all the same. The one thing I thought would be fun is the marriachi band that comes with the package. Does anyone know if they'll allow you to hire an external company for that? I know you can add it on through Dreams, but I think it's around $800. Ouch! Also, has anyone thought about renting a catamaran for guests? Maybe the money I save from not doing the Ultimate package I could put towards a catamaran. It is so important that my guests have a great time I'm having trouble deciding which would be a better use of money. Any input much appreciated!
  8. Thanks for the welcome! I just browsed your website and your work is amazing!!
