I'm a little disappointed, I was very excited and ordered swatches from studiosuits.com. I ordered swatches of their Terry Rayon cloth- website lists 2 different grays. The card I received has MAYBE 1 gray on it (I think its more taupey) I emailed to ask about the colors and was told to order from the swatches. If your site says you have 2 grays I expect 2 grays. Boo I hope I find out after this email that I was sent the wrong ones.

I have been trying to figure out what I wanted to do for an aisle runner. I wanted something, and this is perfect!! GREAT IDEA! Thank you, thank you!!

For my "chub rubs" I always pack Vaseline. Thin layer on my thighs works great under dress, shorts, whatever! Plus Vaseline is great to use on my lips at night (sun is always drying my lips out) AND if you really have some foot damage from sand, walking rub vaseline on your feet and cover with socks over night.

Are the dresses sold??

Just read this whole thread- must say I'm sorry that this all happened to you girls! I would be TICKED. Just wanted to throw in a quick point- I work for a large bank. ALWAYS pay for things online with paypal or debit card/credit card. Theres is a Govt Regulation called "reg E" It protects consumers from any kinda of electronic fraud. Double posts on your checking acct, wrong amt, ANYTHING ELECTRONIC! Also PLEASE be careful of Western Union/MoneyGram services. These services are often used by scammers, because you can't get your funds back. I shop online a lot, so just keep your eyes open and be careful of anything suspicious!

kwaits- I too am having a small intimate ceremony, I **think** I'm going to send out invitations to those I invited (they already know) and STD for our AHR to everyone else + those attending our DW

What do you all think of this... Send out "formal" Invites to ppl going to wedding (from pp total guest is 20 and all immediate family, who live in the area and we see every other week) STD for everyone we wish could make it + ppl that are attending for our DW with wording something to the affect of "Anthony & Katie will be joining together on this date, please join them for a celebration on New Years Eve, blah blah" Sound okay? Would we need a "formal" invite to our AHR??

Anyone with the swatches see a gray color? On their website I'm thinking about ordering the "terry rayon classic suit" It has 2 grays, but wanted to see how it looked. Not sure if the swatches you all have would include that color. Let me know! Thanks!

We are considering taking our babies to FL with us, I know some people will think it crazy! But they are small (under 9 lbs) Pomeranians and are pretty well behaved. They do what they are told except for the occansional "ignoring mommy so I can lick the chocolate of the babies face". All of the family will be with us so if we didn't take them they would have to go to boarding, and I hate the thought of that. We will see what we decide to do!!

I too am planning on a Siesta Key wedding. I'm using Alafia Ceremonies.net She is doing my ceremony, super cheap. Planning on renting a beach house and a small dinner reception following.

Okay I need help! We were planning on a small wedding in FL, (20 ppl max) and only intended to send out STD for the AHR and formal invites later for that. I'm kinda getting the feedback from online that friends/family might think I'm rude because I'm not inviting EVERYONE to the wedding. Is it not fair to want a small wedding, and to not want some family there? (I know that sounds horrible but I have a sister who has burned me (and other siblings) WAY to many times, and I wont regret it)

Couldn't find this when searching the boards, so here goes: We are having a small wedding in FL with an AHR in MO. I am worried about giving people a real reason to come out and celebrate with us; and making it more party like and less reception like. (I don't want to have all of the usual reception stuff) The idea of a NYE reception sounds like a blast to me. Everyone needs something to do, so why not come out for some drinks, heavy apps, and a celebration?? On theknot I had several people NOT fond of the idea. But they also think its rude to have an AHR when I didn't invite ppl to the wedding. Its my wedding we want it with only immediate family but want to celebrate back home with everyone, nothing rude meant by it!! Anyways what do you all think? Fabulous idea or stupid??

Hi all! I live in SW MO and am planning a DW on the West Coast of FL. Thinking it will be Sarasota area. We are getting married 11/5/10 on the beach. Plans for right now- AHR on NYE back in MO. Renting a beach house in FL for about 20-25 people. Looking forward to learning lots from these boards!
