I need to get my eyebrows fixed -- they are too thin, so I'm trying to let them grow out before June when I can get them done properly (any suggestions on this --how long does it normally take? If I stop fussing with them now, will it be enough time) We are also looking into teeth whitening -- not sure whether to try the crest white strips first, or go professional first. I'm going to tan -- but I haven't done spray tanning before, but I don't feel like it will help much. I am against tanning, but I burn really easily so it may pay to go 3 times before to get a base. I want to get my nails done too --but I have never had fake nails put on! lol..so advice on that would also be great!

I think you made the right decision. He isn't exactly an adult yet -- I mean, I remember when I was 18 and living in my parents house, they wouldn't have let me go!!!! I wasn't mature enough to go on a trip by myself, even though I may have wanted to. I think you made the right decision!

Just another question - I've been reading what you guys wrote about the beach party but I'm still confused. What are the costs for this -- like, the 3 hour private beach party. I'm trying to decide if it is worth it for us, we will only have 15-20. Can you guys let me know? Thanks!

I am so sorry this is happening right now. It is horrible to see someone you love sick, and to have your FI experiencing it too is just awful. I also know how hard it is to lose a pet, and so fast. We had to put my dog to sleep 2 or 3 years ago, but it happened so fast and over the course of 3 days. It can be just as traumatic as losing a human you love. Hang in there, your cat is in a happy and healthy place now. And I hope the best for your grandma and your FI's family as well. The light at the end of the tunnel is that your time away will be well needed and hopefully get you all back on track. Remember, it is your day and while you may feel guilty right now you need to focus on your day when it comes. All the best!

Thanks!! We originally had October, but were worried about hurricane season and also my FI's mom is a teacher -- so the end of June worked better for her. Also, I'm graduating from teachers college this April, so hopefully I will have a job by October! So it just ended up working out better to move it up -- plus, it's sooner! !

While I am not happy to hear that people are having bad experiences with their TA - I am relieved to know its not just me. Mine is BRUTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She didn't get us a good group rate, AND then told us to book right away and call everyone and it's been 2 months and the price on redtag and sunwing have not changed, so I dont know what the rush was!! AND she never replies to our email questions. She is gone every week to another country (her job, I know). BUT the worst part is, she is my FI's groomsman's mom, which is why we worked with her...but when it came to making the deposit for our group, she told my FI she would send him a cheque for the deposit if he puts it on his credit card. 2 MONTHS AGO!! AND WE HAVEN'T HAD IT YET. I know she will pay it, I mean her son is in the wedding,...but she's just so forgetful that it's pissing me off.

Not yet! June sometime! We're going to be low key about it, we want the Punta Cana ceremony to be the "real" deal for us! It was just a lot easier, and since I'm finishing up school I didn't want to have to worry about sending docs to be translated, and all that stuff. So this is perfect!
