Prettypigpig, One of my guilty pleasures at lunch time is to go to Barnes and Noble and read the garb magazines. Since I'm not paying for it I feel like I'm not supporting them. LOL

I’m catching up too, so much to say. You ladies have been so chatty, while I’ve been studying for my final. I got an 89 on my final, so I got an A for the class. I thought the resort photographer was more economical, but after reviewing some other posts on this site and some outside photographers are just as economical. Plus my uncle wants to take photos and for an amateur he’s pretty good. It really is annoying how the resorts don’t allow outside photographers without costing us brides money. They should provide better photographers. LOL I don’t mind the Mexican wedding script; it’s a small part of the ceremony. I say as in Mexico do as the Mexicans. I’m fairly religious so I want to add more prayers and religious references in the ceremony. The same goes for having a legal ceremony. FI does not want to get married here first and then in Mexico. I agree. Arriving early, taking a blood test and having a marriage license translated is not too much of a hassle for us. I’m trying to lose about 10lbs. FI doesn’t want me to lose anything because he loves my figure. FI is still looking for a suit to wear. He has a linen suit, but he doesn’t know if he wants to wear it. I pray that everyone gets through these hard economic times. Just think about your upcoming wedding, it always takes my stress away.

I checked out Octavio's site and the pricing is pretty reasonable. Wow! I might reconsider using a resort photographer. We will only be needing a photographer for maybe 2 hours considering we aren't having a cocktail hour or reception.

I'm getting married at Sun Palace Jan 11, 2011. I've only confirmed the date since its so far in the future. I'm glad there is another Sun Palace bride. I've also been following the Moon palace threads. Due to budget restrictions we are going with the resort photographer. I'm just curious as to who the photographer is.

Yesterday, after 60 days of avoiding it, the Wii Fit said I was fat, so I took a 45 minute spinning class this evening.

I'm not sure if we will spend the night together. It all depends on if we can. I definitely want him to leave while I get ready.

Nicyx, My cousins wedding was small intimate family affair. It was really nice and she was so happy. This is her second, so I’m glad everything went well for her. I plan on taking my ring also. I love it too much. I have a fake stand in, which I wear to the gym. If I don’t have something on that finger I feel naked without it. Me and FI will be planning a family soon after the wedding mariachi’s stop playing. I’m in my early 30’s and he’s in his late 30’s, so we want to get started right away. I hope to have 2 before 40.

Nicyx, I love your dress, so pretty! It’s definitely very beachy! Janapana, I have the same fear. We are planning to get married on the beach too. I just know that there will be some random person in our pictures that will have to be “edited” out. LOL. Welcome all the new brides! Now that my cousins’ wedding is over with, I can get back to planning my own wedding. I still haven’t sent the STD’s out, yet. I need to do it soon because everyone is asking for details. Some are even ready to book.

I watched Jesse James when he was on the apprentice, my first exposure to him. I was with Donald Trump when he was puzzled and baffled as to why Sandra Bullock would want to be with someone like him. Just from what I saw and heard of him then I thought he was trash and only dealt with trashy woman. Why Sandra would want to be with someone like him was crazy to me, but you never know what people bring to a relationship. Sometimes you search for happiness and are fooled when you think you have it. I liked Sandra and I pray she gets over this and moves on with open eyes. I agree with Svnoyi, much like with the Tiger Woods situation, I think a lot of women are lying to get money from the story. The only thing they have to do is say they were at the same place and same time as Jesse and boom you get PAID!

I’m with most of you with trying to keep a low budget on the dress. My mother will be making my dress. She made my sister’s dress and it was absolutely beautiful. It’s great because she can take the great things for several dresses and make me my own unique dress. My mom could win Project Runway with her skills. So far with fabric, notions and “test dress†it will cost me about $75.00. Here’s the pattern that I’m using as a starting point. Prettypigpig, The dress on the dhgate website are lovely!
