Hello All, I just got back from my wedding in Mexico and it was everything I dreamed of. The day was perfect and thanks to amazing friends and family who joined us made it more than we could have imagined. I had the honor of having the Incredible Fer Juaristi to shoot my wedding. This was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding was having him as our photographer. Not only is he so passionate about what he does but his contagious energy and spirit makes him such a pleasure to be around. We felt that we have known Fer for years. Our friends and family are still talking about him and how amazing he was. My husband thought maybe he had a twin with the angles he took. His pictures captured the whole moment from beginning to end. Looking at his pictures you can feel the emotion and happiness on that day; even if you weren`t at the wedding by looking at the pictures it makes you feel like you were part of it. I wish we had a reason to have him come to Canada, maybe he can shoot our 1st baby pictures : ) Fer goes above and beyond. He has a talent like no other and his Rock Star Wedding Photography truly rocked!!!!! Words can`t describe how happy my husband and I are to have met Fer and to have his pictures to look at for the rest of our lives. We used DJ Mannia for our wedding in the Riveria Maya. They were more than we could have imagined. They were very accomodating and made sure that all of the songs that we requested to be played were played throughout the night. If anyone is getting married in Mexico and is looking for a DJ I would highly recommend using DJ Mannia. You won`t be dissapointed.

Is anyone working with Karen? That's my wedding planner for the Barcelo Maya Palace. It takes her a couple days to get back as well. It is so frustrating that it takes so long. I tried to call a few times and can't get a hold of anyone either.

Your kidding me... Wow, that is ridiculous.. is there anyway you can negotiate with them to try to get some of the prices down? Now, I dont know if we should book the dreams or not..

Also, does anyone know if Westjet vacations flies to Punta Cana in the summer? My travel agent was saying that they dont have their summer schedule out, and sometimes don't fly in the summer season..

We are looking to get married in DR in July 2010. Does anyone have any recommendations on travel agents or prices flying from Toronto and Calgary in July. We are finding these resorts to be quite high. Our quotes are around the $1800-$2000 mark and we are hoping to stay closer to $1500-$1700. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

I am getting quoted $2100 from Calgary and Toronto for Los Cabos Dreams and $1850 for Riu Palace in July 2010.
