    Everytime I have called Cecilia directly she has answered the phone... and Angie I agree with you, everyone has said everything went very well when it was time for their wedding. I am going to do the same thing for OOT bags and I have also purchased the bows for the chairs on ebay that end up being a lot cheaper than the $4.00 a chair they charge. That $10 per person for the extra hour I have not heard that yet... but thanks for the info! Angie - who are you using for DJ??

    HI Ladies - had my appendics taken out the other night so no dress shopping for me, so bummed! I am doing ok just in a lot of pain... hope everyone has a good weekend.. ill be off work next week and bored so ill prob be posting a lot on the board Lauren

    I know.. its hard to decide between the packages or just picking things on your own.. probably easier to do a package and add to it since noone can get ahold of anyone over there!!! I tried emailing SWANK twice and no response... Luis was so nice when we were down there a few weeks ago.. annoying!

    We are getting married on a Saturday and leaving the following day for our honeymoon in either Jamaica/Bahamas, havent decided yet. Love Mexico, but I have been down there too much in the past few years.. need to change it up for the honeymoon

    Going to House of Brides and Davids Bridal next Saturday... have an appointment at Macys next Monday, but I'm pretty sure they are going to be too pricey. Does everyone have their dress for the most part? My MOH is making me feel like I'm behind

    Hope everyone had a great weekend!! Dress shopping Saturday.... which means lots of working out, tanning & eating good this whole week!

    I would look into El Dorado, its gorgeous... wanted to have our wedding there but not reasonable enough for our guest.

    Yeah me too... wedding comes before work! Someone was mentioning earlier on in the board they hired a Mariachi band through another company (not the resort) and it was still cheaper to pay outside vendor fee. I'll have to go back and look for it.

    None of you guys are going through destinationweddings.com? We (meaning my agent and I) are not dealing with Daniela or Cecilia at all... going through Theresa who is in charge of all the Paradisus' she seems to be on top of everything and gets back to us ASAP... I know I said this before but I thought DW weddings is suppose to be easier than having it in our home towns LOL

    Thats funny, too bad our weddings arent a day apart.. my Maid of Honor does hair!! We could have swapped the makeup artist for a hair stylist! LOL I guess I will do a trial with them for makeup and see how they do... or else I'll just have my MOH help

    I got really lucky with my photographer, she is so sweet and cant wait for her to do our wedding!
