    Hi Ladies, So, I've made it to a month before my wedding without any dress doubt, and now, it's starting to kick in. I just had my final fitting and I am finding myself unhappy with the way the dress looks after alterations. I guess there's not much I can do at this point. I was just curious if this happened to other ladies and how they dealt with it. I look through the forums and saw other posts on dress doubt, but not anything a month before the wedding and after the dress was altered! Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

    So far, I am paying for all of the girls dresses. I'll do a little something else for them, but still trying to figure it out.

    I think we'll be in the 20 to 30 dollar range. We only have 12 to make. We're also not going to give out additional favors. Since we're putting the money into giving out nice OOT bags, I think that will be sufficient.

    I think getting them in Mexico would be good. You have to be careful though because things like maracas are geared towards tourists - so they end up increasing the prices significantly.

    Great idea. Thanks ladies. I think we are going to get Mariachis to play during dinner. I think we're going to do this instead of hiring a DJ. Our crowd isn't really the dancing crowd and we'll only have about 24 ppl total.

    I'm looking forward to the BDW NOW Sapphire/Jade seminar! I have a question with regards to the photographer. If we are using the resort photographer, but would like to add on photographer services, how is the rate calculated? What exactly is included in the Divine package? I understand the number of photographs that we will receive, but I want to know specifically when the photographer will be available. Does this include getting ready, ceremony and post ceremony pictures? How long does the photographer stay with us? Thanks!!

    Smoylan - It took ours about 2 weeks total. We ordered it on a Sunday. The following day, it went to production. It took about a week to be made and then about 1 week for shipping. Definitely on the quicker side.

    We just received my FI's suit in the mail. It is a bit lighter (in fabric) than I thought it'd be, but it's still worth the low price tag. My FI liked it, but he believes that these suits are not truly "custom." They are custom in the sense that they take a pre-made jacket and pants, and then tailor to your size. I guess this would normally work out well, but he's on the shorter side (about 5'8"), so the pants don't look as tailored as they should. Overall we would recommend.

    Hi All, I know there are a lot of former NOW Sapphire brides and soon to be NOW Sapphire brides on this board. Since Paradisus Riviera was bought out and changed names to NOW Sapphire, there haven't been a lot of reviews on weddings at the hotel. I greatly appreciate the information the former brides have posted on this thread, and I was wondering if any of you would mind doing a formal review of the hotel and your wedding. Thank you! =)

    Hi TK! I chose to use a travel agent. I have to say, she's amazing and has really been able to take care of all of the details for us. We have people traveling from all around the country and wanted someone who would be able to help coordinate with everyone's schedules. She sends me updated listings everytime someone books and at any point in time, I can tell who is coming, when, how many rooms we have booked in total, etc. She has been a life saver and would definitely using a travel agent.
