I just got one of those KOBO readers -- it's fantastic for the elliptical/treadmill. It is thin enough to fit on that little ledge of the machine and I don't have to worry about the pages moving or staying open. When I'm reading, I can easily forget that I'm exercising.

These are the rates I got for the MC from Toronto (departing January 29, 2011): ☼ $1280.00 per person + $330.00 taxes ($1610 total per person, based on double occupancy) ☼ $842.00 per child (age 2-12) + $330.00 taxes ($1172 total per child when sharing a room with 2 adults) It isn't that much better, but a small difference. Not sure about the ME though.

I started researching resorts about 14 months out. Our hotel could take reservations 1 year in advance, so we did that as soon as possible and reserved our date 1 year out. I sent out STD e-mails on Valentine's Day, so people had just about a year's notice to start saving. And I can't believe how quickly it's going! I'd certainly start researching resorts now -- there's a lot to do but it's lots of fun

I paid for my dress. My mom would have loved to, but it's just out of her budget. My parents are saving very hard just to pay for their tickets, and they are determined to do so. But even so, I'm prepared to cover their costs if they fall a little short. In any case, I'm glad I paid for it -- that way I don't have to feel any pressure to buy someone else's dream dress!

I have this on my website: "It is also possible to stay at a different hotel and purchase a day pass to the Majestic Colonial for the wedding day." That's it. It will be up to them to book their own travel and they can ask me about this option, if they choose to do this. But I don't think we will pay for their day pass -- we are already paying a lot for a private reception in the Presidential Suite, and we have told everyone that we are not expecting gifts. If people choose to stay somewhere else, then they are on their own.

Hey ladies! I was planning to get some bags customized, but it was really difficult to find anything in coral. Just by chance, I walked into H&M this weekend and found these amazing recycled waterproof bags in coral -- for $2! They were marked down from $4.95. They also had yellow and blue. I'm so happy I found them because I actually like them so much more than the vistaprint sample I made, or anything else I've seen online. I'll just customize them with a tag, and then I'll also have the mugs. I think I wiped out most of the Toronto stores of the coral bags, but check out H&M if you're looking for a good deal.

I'm still hoping we can get together this month. Sarah, are you still up for that BBQ?
