Ok, so this is what the Majestic WC wrote to me in an e-mail: Civil ceremony A civil ceremony is performed by a Dominican Judge. This is legally binding and includes the marriage certificate delivered to your home. This province of The Dominican Republic only has one legal judge so securing dates can be difficult. Please advise us as soon as possible if you require a civil/legal wedding. Please bear in mind that marriage certificate can take up to 3 months to be received. Note: The judge may change the time of the wedding - even after it had been confirmed. The judge may change the time of the wedding?! That is kind of freaking me out. I think we are going to opt for the symbolic ceremony with Pastor Rick York due to this and other challenges...

I think you may be overreacting just a little bit... yes it is annoying, but her life has nothing to do with yours and it makes no difference to you anyways. If she is really that obsessed with you, than I would just feel pity for her... and her clueless FI.
