I need to have willpower like yours! I have the P90X videos but the longest I've lasted is 4 days. Lol. It has been SOOO hard to be good here! The only meal we've had at home is breakfast and that's just yogurt and some cereal mixed or a few sausages and milk since I'm not eating any straight carbs. Everything else has been out at restaurants and we're only 3 days in to our 2 week vacay! It's also frustrating that a lot of the fast food places (KFC, Mickey D's, etc.) don't have a healthy menu option like back home. No grilled chicken salads or diet cokes. Grrr... I have a feeling I'll be listing a gain these next two weeks. Hey Lindsay, Nice to hear from you! I hope you guys are having a blast. I'm sure you are also walking around a lot and doing stuff, so maybe you're burning off the calories. And if not, enjoy yourself and we'll be here when you get back! Tomorrow will be much better. Night ladies. Aww, that was a sweet gesture for your FI to make you dinner. How could you resist? And I'm sure it's extra tough when you're stressed and tired (or at least that is the case for me). But don't worry, tomorrow is another day Cindy. Night!

Yay Natasha! I have been good these past two days, at least food-wise. I didn't work out yesterday, but I'm going to get my butt to the gym now. (And I'm writing it here so that I must now get off the computer and go.... lol)

Wow, these are so funny! (love the robert downy jr. one, haha). So far I am just dreaming about weird things like chair sashes and not finding a dress and stuff... mostly because I spend too much time on the computer before bed like you DiamondGirl, lol.

Thanks less than 6 weeks to go..... Sorry, I don't know the answer. But only a few weeks to go, how exciting! All the best to you! -

Salad with grilled salmon, cottage cheese with that pineapple sauce they come with for lunch. In the afternoon I had more cauliflower and hummus (lol seriously!) and for dinner raw broccoli and tilapia. Girls we had a horrible weekend it seems, let's focus and keep on trying together!!! Good night to all of you! "see" you tomorrow! I agree! With everything! I had baked salmon last night with steamed broccoli... we are almost (kinda) in sync,

I had pizza this weekend too! My friends just bought a new house, so me and FI went over to congratulate them and help them move some stuff, and since they didn't have anything set up, we just ordered pizza after. Oh well, I tried to eat the spinach and chicken one -- at least there were some veggies involved, lol.

Hi Jenn, I am getting married on February 3, 2011. We've booked our symbolic ceremony already with the resort, our photographer, DJ, and videographer. Still waiting for rates to come down for travel... P.S. Pam -- since you are a travel agent, when do you think rates will come down, based on historical trends? Maybe June when the weather gets warmer (fingers crossed)? P.S.S. BeachBrideSoon, I sent you a PM. Happy planning, ladies! -

I do cheer really loud for him at the finish line though. Well, on the runs where we can bring our doggies, we run all together but most races are no dogs allowed. Anyways, today I figured I would run with him the whole way. It was great, with my encouragement FI set a PB and I got total FI points for not leaving him behind. And even though I expected to do terrible because I haven't been working out regularly, our time wasn't horrible. 58 minutes, only about 8 minutes slower than my normal goal time. I'm so proud of FI, his best time before this was like 63 min. So not only did I exercise but I got to share FI's PB with him. Congratulations Cindy, that's awesome!!! That must have felt so great for both of you.

Does anyone know of a good place to order the crystal organza sashes in Canada? I was going to order two samples from weddinglinensdirect.com. The samples came to $3.50 before shipping... with shipping it was $18.64!

Ok so this is kinda off topic, but have any of you tried to skip using Alesse before? Wow, it's coming so soon! How exciting!!! I have also stayed on the pill for an extra week or two to miss my period for a trip. You might get some light spotting on the week you were supposed to get it, but you might not since it's only 1 week difference.

WEIGH IN DAY!! A little late, I know... I was at work today and the whole network has been down all morning! We couldn't check e-mail, get onto the internet, or do ANYTHING. Just goes to show how completely dependent we are on technology.... but on the positive side, it's like 21 degrees today, sunny, it's Friday, and we got to leave early. Yay! Congrats to everyone who is doing so well! And wow Natasha, you are so close, that's awesome. And Jannae, you are doing great too, I'm sure you will make it and look gorgeous in that dress. I am going for my first dress shopping expedition tomorrow -- I am so excited! I am going to do what you said Cindy -- buy something that I think looks good on me, but hopefully have to take it in by the wedding. I also think that dress shopping will be a great motivator for me. LeAnne -- congrats on the milestone! You are so inspiring and awesome.

Perhaps it was just the type of mug that Heidi used - note also that her original post is not recent. It's quite possible they have fixed the problem since then. Regarding the temperature - any two-walled mug design (whether it's interior is plastic or stainless) with a lid will keep a drink colder than a one-wall mug design. That being said, when it's almost 100 degrees outside, even the two-walled design can only do so much. The drinks will eventually warm up. The main reason we purchased the mugs for our guests was not so much for keeping the drinks cold (even though that's what we all put on our tags!), but for the size. A lot of AIs pour their drinks in small, disposable plastic glasses which means the drinks get warm really quickly, and they don't hold much, so you're making more trips to the bar! At Dreams they used glass instead of plastic, but our mugs were bigger so they obviously held more of the good stuff! If I have any complaint, it's not about the logo rubbing off, but the sand scratching the shiny surface. However, this didn't bug me (or anyone else). I still use mine to hold my coffee every morning as I commute to work. My sister uses hers to hold drinks around her pool every summer. They were definitely worth the cost and trouble. Here's a picture of ours: Hi Thomasjsgirl, Can you tell me what style you ordered? They have so many and they are all starting to look the same to me, lol.

Cost of Travel for Guests

Hey Lindz, The other perks such as free wedding package and room upgrades depends on the resort. I know the Majestic has the free wedding package if you book 15 rooms for 7+ nights, plus free upgrade on the room for bride and groom (depending on availability). The TA can coordinate that and make sure it happens, but really I think the perks vary by resort and tour operator.
