I just returned from our wedding at the Riu Palace Punta Cana. I can not even begin to describe our dream wedding and the staff at the Riu. They went above and beyond. Everything was beyond our expectations. Our guests traveled from Oct 5-13th and we used a local NY travel agent who got our guests a great price of 131.00 per day all inclusive (5 stars) air fare can depend on where your traveling from. Based on the packages, the floral, the DJ and the photographer were all amazing. We used Daniel Gastaldi from Antillana de Fotografia. AMAZING!!! Magnolia & Maria were my wedding coordinators and took care of every detial. If you need any more info or want to see pics. please PM me.

your welcome! it makes it so much more personal! my only recommendation is make sure the pin you are using to hold the rings to the shell is easy to undo! i had a little trial and error.

Okay maybe i'm having a moment a week away from our departure but suddenly I am EXTREMELY concerned with using the resort's DJ. I know the DJ makes the party, and yes i've made an ipod play list for him to work from but now im concerned that he wont be high energy enough, mc won't be right etc.....I'm even open to looking into last minute quotes! Any recommendations?? help / suggestions! ?

i had to send photos and specify what i wanted and then they quoted me at a price... I think the base price they start at is 50.00

hi! I am getting married at the Riu Palace punta cana in less than two weeks!! I have visited the Riu in June '08 for a family vacation. I have tons of photos and could probably answer a lot of your questions. Please PM me anything specific you need help with. As far as emails, when i first started planning (last aug) there was a little more of delay in the responses....as the wedding got closer, the responses got quicker.
