  1. Sounds like we'll be headed to Wal-Mart and Target soon! Does anyone have a general list of what's in these? I'm wondering if we'll have to buy extra aspirin, etc. Thanks for the tip!
  2. These are amazing! If only we had the time to do something like this!
  3. Congrats and welcome to the forum! An ice cream bar sounds like a fun idea! We might actually see if our resort (Dreams Puerto Aventuras) does that.
  4. Congrats and Welcome! You're getting married on my FI's birthday!
  5. Congrats and Welcome! We wanted to try and keep the travel affordable for all and found that the Cancun area was very reasonable! We ended up choosing Dreams Puerto Aventuras!

    Newbie!!

Congrats Cindy! It has usually taken us about 24 hours to get a response from the WC at Dreams Puerto Aventuras. We're down to less than two months til our wedding day and things are getting crazy!

I told her that I really interested in renting it out, and when I met with her she said okay booked for 10/01/10 at the Gazebo with a reception at El Patio. I told her I thought you couldn't book it "officially" until a week or two before and she said well normally they don't book it for a party of your size, but I talked to Sandra and worked it out. She didn't say anything about timing...of course, that is also mid-hurricane season...so who knows!

Boy oh boy. I will not get stressed though, that's forever away. I just hope she didn't put me for the wrong year. Interesting, I wanted later than 3:00 as well, and I was told by my TA that DPA normally did weddings at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. She has coordinated numerous weddings at DPA, and seems to be on very good terms with Sandra. I just booked my date, so now I am thinking I should push for a later time...

Yes, Sandra confirmed our 3rd choice for a date, but we (I should say my TA) was able to work it out. We are officially set for 10/01/10 at 3:00 p.m., with our reception at El Patio! I am so excited and relieved!! The comments and reviews were EXTREMELY helpful in choosing DPA!

    Hey All!

Hey everyone! My Fiance (Barry) and I (Cassandra) got engaged December 19th and we're planning our DW for October 2010 in Riveria Maya/Playa Del Carmen. We will probably both be posting from here, just to make things easier!
