  1. Where would you ladies recommend going for bridesmaid dresses in the city? for Mexico I even thoughts that we could try the mall maybe? I was thinking of pitching in towards the dresses so thinking of going to stores where its 150-200 max. Thanks.
  2. Wow I was super excited.. at first, yeah its just not worth the risk, the pictures are beautiful but I can see way too many things going wrong. I will stick to my flamess paper bag luminaries

Now I've gotta get rid of dress #1 (or is it considered dress # 2 ?!) lol Congrads! its so great when it all comes together, and yes definitly we must have some pictures!
  4. What a beautiful setting! I love that gazeebo as well, what a great feeling to the place! Your dress is stunning, enjoy! I love your BM dresses too, I am looking for yellow, pink, orange myself and I love JCrew some of the girls are a little worried about shopping online but some of these dresses are just too cute!

The dress is made by a Canadian designer so they are a bit faster to get them in, rather than 6-8 months for some, I was quote 4-6 months, my wedding is in November and they said it will be no problem to bring in for September with plenty of time for alterations - on the one side I do want to smooth out some of the folds (there are tiny double folds, a couple of them, that start about 2 inches away from the seam, I might not care once I get the dress but by the 4th visit to the bridal salon, which is crazy, I did see them...so yeah)
  6. My two cents for shopping: 1. I went with a small group, who was just super supportive, no varying opinions to deal with 2. Bring a camera, first time I didnt, and half the stores let me take pictures while just shopping, for example: cameo and cufflinks - did I mention that their service was the best?! 3. Bring socks, you wont be able to wear your shoes to not get the dresses dirty 4. Have fun! I was ready to buy the first dress I put on at cameo and cufflinks, funny enough that ended up the one after all! with allot more stress than it ever needed to be, but the first store I went to was the Parisian and that was really blah (for me) and so the first 'real' dress, it was believed I should check out more, I think if you know you know. Okie ladies I dont have pictures of me in the dress, as I dont want to have it on the computer at home, for fear that the FH will see them, but here is the link Lea Ann Belter Bridal - Niagara Collection - Mathia She is a Canadian designer out of Toronto. Enjoy!

I didn't even feel like I had makeup on...it felt and looked really natural. He is very talented. He only uses MAC products and he even gave me a lipstick to keep for touchups throughout the night:) And I LOVE HIS PERSONALITY! He is so much fun and just made me feel so relaxed. I paid $300 for hair & makeup. My mom and one of BM's did their makeup with him and another BM had her hair done. I think he charged $60 or $80 for the BM/mother makeup. I love the make up job that he does but I am worried about the hair. Does he use the same person each time? to me it seems like its easier to screw up the hair than it does the make up. By chance do any of you ladies know whether he would just do the make up?
  8. Agreed - just started boot camp yesterday and we had to do it in this weather, man it was cold. On the bright side, just bought my dress yesterday - hmm maybe that baklava wasnt the smartest addition to lunch, there is always boot camp again tomorrow
