  1. hollym, I only have 2 pictures of a beach ceremony set-up. If you PM me your e-mail address, I can send them to you. If you have any other questions, I can try to describe the different options she showed me. Let me know! I asked her about a million questions, so maybe I can answer some of yours.
  2. sungoddess, I am not sure about the Renewal of Vows at the Iberostar Dominicana, but I can tell you that the full wedding package is $1600. That price is for 20 people (dinner, cake, champagne, etc.). I would imagine that the ROV is less because you won't need the judge. I have been in touch with Yoselina, the WC at the Iberostar Dom., and she always responds within a day or two. Try emailing her at [email protected] if you haven't already. Hope this helps!

  4. Hollym, I am getting married at the Iberostar Dominicana next August. I assume that Yoselina is your WC. I actually met with her in October to see the different locations for the ceremony and a reception and she was great. She is very efficient and organized. As long as you come with a list of everything you to see happen, she will figure out a way to do it. We have a lot of complicated circumstances and she came up with a solution for everything. Also, you don't need a deposit at the Iberostars. I was worried about that as well, but then she showed me the master calendar with all of the reserved dates. I hope this helps!
  5. I know a girl who did this. Her and her fiance stayed at the Paradisus Palma Real and her 60 guests stayed at the Majestic Elegance. What you have to keep in mind is the price of day passes. Gran Bahia charges $75 per person and Majestic charges around $80. You would have to decide who was going to pay that part. Also if you are planning on having your ceremony in the day and a dinner and reception at night, you may have to pay a day pass and a night pass for every person. Also, most hotels require that the bride and groom stay where the wedding is taking place, so you would have to decide if you are alright with only seeing your guests the day of the wedding and not during the rest of the stay. What I decided to do was have my wedding at a more affordable hotel (Iberostar Punta Cana) and then we will be staying for 4 days after our guests leave at the Iberostar Grand as a mini honeymoon. Maybe something like that would work for you!
