We used a TA in our area & it was great. She was able to share information about so many different resorts so we could make our decision. The best thing was...she has been to most of them so could tell us from first hand experience. Chrissy

This is all good to know. In the original price package I was sent there wasn't any option for buffet or 2 options. We have 10 people booked already without sending our invites out so that is great info, thanks!

Shower for second Marriage

This is my 2nd marriage & I told my friend/family I don't need another shower. Plus we are having people spend a good amount of money to join us at Turks & Caicos so I didn't want to impose more costs. -

We are planning between 15-20 guests so my FI & I have agreed to pay for the fishing trip for the guys but I think his parents might pick up the bill. They keep asking what they can help with. I was going to do a private rehearsal dinner but I am leaning more towards just meeting at one of the restaurants with everyone. We arrive on Tuesday, his parents on Wed, mine on Thurs, and others on Friday and the wedding is Saturday. I know I am going to have some spa time on Saturday while getting ready for our wedding @ 4.

I haven't worked with my WC with Beaches too much directly mostly I have just been going through my travel agent which has worked out well...plus she likes to email so I have a record of everything, including prices. Chrissy

Hi Jami! Welcome to the forums. Because we knew we wanted a destination wedding the first thing we did is find a travel agent & have them review a bunch of different locations with us. It was really helpful. Chrissy

Thanks Jennifer! So if you do pay the money for the package (say I buy the ugrade to the flutter of romance ($1900)) and need 3 tables, I would need to pay extra for 2 tables and the decorations? I am hoping they have more info before March...I was hoping to have everything ironed out by then. Chrissy

Wow, I am glad I saw this thread! I haven't bought my dress yet but there is a DB that is closer to me than other bridal stores so I was going to get my dress there...I might have 2nd thoughts now.

I was wondering this too...we will be there on Tuesday but have guests arriving Wed, Thurs, & Friday. I thought about greeting them with cocktails but after some of their trips I think they may just want to dive into the water ha!
