Hello, I was wondering if anyone has used Vponsale.com for their invitations before? I have order some invitations and they sent me a email confirmation as well as another email with some questions. I responded but they havent gotten back to me and it's been four days... dont know if anyone of you had used them in the past and if they are a real company (I hope I didnt get scammed!)

She sounds like one of my friends that is still in the party mode that doesnt want to grow up to face reality. I hate to tell you this but it sounds like she will not be coming to your wedding from reading her email (even though she doesnt flat out tell you) and think you should have someone else stand as your MOH. Has she always been this way? I know you said you have known her for 8 years so surely there must have been warning signs. My friend that is like your friend that you've discribed, we are still friends but I dont talk to her like I use to. I found out from another friend that she isnt coming to our wedding but I've known her for 15 years and knew that would be the case with her since she can be flaky at times.. When I found out I wasnt surprised but in the end I decided I wouldnt let that bother me.

NaM - Thank you and I was at first concerned since we have 4 or 5 people getting married the same day (anywhere from 2 to 6pm). I tried to reserve the Pandera Terrace for the cocktail reception after the ceremony but it was booked so Dulce booked another terrace which looks nice. I need to figure out how to add pictures/ attachments on here!

We are getting married on June 26th next year and only me and my FI have booked. There seems to be a lot of people that want to come and said they would book after the holidays so I'm just patiently waiting.... I plan to send out actual invitations after the first of the year to get a better headcount. I guess as long as I have my immediate family and best friends there I will be okay!

Travis, I know what you mean... things have been pretty busy so I need to start taking care of the little things (invitations, etc) as well. I'm like you and waiting until the holidays are over. When booking, I went through Destination Weddings.com and once I signed a contract they got me in touch with someone in Miami (been working with Melissa Gomez out of the Miami office). Just recently Melissa gave me a name of one of the on site coordinators, Dulce, and just started to work with her within the past week. I know they usually state the onsite coordinator contacts you 60 days prior but sometimes it's earlier. Are you doing one of the packages? We went with the Sapphire package but might change to the free and add on...

Travis, that is awesome! I saw there was another person getting married on the same day as both you and I but they never responded back to me. We are getting married an hour after you guys, at 3pm on the Cove side (Coba Gazebo). Are you getting married on the Cove side or Spa side? As for you being the only guy on here, I'm sure they are others and I bet your fiancee is loving that you are involved (you get kudos on this end!). My man is involved but to a certain extent (which I'm fine with and understand). Have you been in contact with your on-site coordinator? I just started to talk with mine so if you have any questions let me know.

Hello, I actually read somewhere that there is a charge to steam your dress (but cant remember where I found that information), believe it's $50 to $60. Now I'm getting married at Aventura Spa but I would think that would be the same at Moon Palace. There is a spreadsheet on here somewhere with the price information for the salon, etc... I will see if I can locate it and post the information.

I have the same stress that quite a few people have on this forum. My biggest stress is wanting to know if the people that said they are coming will book and actually show up. I have been lucky that no one has gaven me a guilt trip but at the same time I told people about a year or so before getting engage that when we get engaged we plan to have a DW. My Aunt really wants to go but not sure if that will happen. Depending on how things go and our budget, I'm going to try to help her out if I can... Also another stress is that my dad said he was going to ride down on a Harley to Mexico... I told him that he has to be joking and that it isnt safe (HE BETTER NOT DO THAT)! My dad use to work for the airlines so he can fly for free but on standby so he said that would be his last resort. I just told him buy a ticket to be on the safe side and if you dont want to I buy the ticket for him!

KJT1985, Everything will work out and I'm sorry that not everyone on this thread sees your point of view. Aren't you allowed to be selfish especially on your wedding day? Plus your cousin constantly messing up is really the selfish one and probably does it to get attention. I sometimes think that babying someone with an addiction is the worst thing you can do because they know you will give them attention if they screw up (over and over again)! I'm with you sister! It's me again.... Also I had a friend that had a destination wedding as well and changed her resort just so that her best friends kid could attend and you know what.... they didnt even go! Again it's your day and dont make decisions based on what other people want (unless they are paying for your day then that might be different).
