Hey guys! I tried this dress on yesterday and i really really like it! Its by Marisa but i cannot find the style number to see if i can get it cheaper somewhere else or used! What do you guys HONESTLY think about this dress??? Its very different then what i was even looking for but someone about it just got me. Im in the process of making my DIY passport invitations and i simply cannot figure out where to get passport stamp clipart!! Im looking for the more formal looking stamps. EVERYONE uses passport stamps on their invites so they have to be out there somewhere!! It feels like i looked everywhere...could someone please help me out..any help would be appreciated!! I hired DJ Mannia for the ceremony and reception also. I know he has been at DT many times and he didnt say anything about them not allowing him to do the ceremony so i didnt even think twice about it.

Curtney, We are gettting a Dj..Dj Mannia. And its costing us about $300 more then that but hes has gotten Awesome reviews so thats one thing i will not have to worry about at the wedding because we were originally going to just bring an ipod down with us but the more i thought about it i realized it wouldve been more of a hassle then anything!!

sstryker, Â yes that is what i keep telling my fiance...what we are paying to have it there isnt even close to what it would be here!! Yea i def try to negotiate something something with them, we arent sure what we want to negotiate yet because our main concern is if it goes over 20 people (im sure it will) and all those extra costs. So we are still weighing our options..love package vs free package, cocktail hr vs non, and gold dinner vs silver dinner ,we are all about the surf and turf dinner but do not want to pay to get the ultimate wedding package, so im not sure what we're doing about that!!! $6100 usd isnt bad..our goal is $5000 but again it depends how many people decide to come.

In my case, my fiance and i are paying for our wedding ourselves..with no one at all to help us out!! I have pricey taste and have been putting off wedding dress shopping until i figured out a way i can pay for what will make me happy!! This is my answer..a dress made from china (well most of them are already made from china but you get what i mean, a dress made from china without the label in it).This is perfect for me...i can still enjoy going shopping for my dress like everyone else and now i dont have to worrry about whether its under a certain price because i can have it made for a very reasonable price. Plus, i plan on doing a ttd session and am going to use it for that too!! Perfect answer to all my worries!!

Omg!! I am jumping up and down right now!! Im sooo glad i found this thread!! Its such a great idea to get a knock off dress especially since im doing a ttd session and do not plan on keeping my dress forever!! I have been trying to figure out how im going to pay for my dress because the dresses ive found have been $1000 and higher!! Yea i guess your right..for the cocktail hour i was thinking about the snack part of it not the alcohol part. Because people can just go get drinks at another bar too. If you dont mind me asking what is your total coming to with the ultimate package? Ive read alot of reviews from people saying that they did let them substiute things if they werent going to use somethign out of their package..you should at least try to talk them into it.for your cocktail hour..if you havent already done so already.

sstryker, Â Would they have let you have the cocktail hour but not pay extra for the extra people? I dont think paying an extra $15 or whatever it is is worth it for the snacks they provide...but at the same time id hate to see something go to waste in a package that i was paying for. Im still so confused about what package to use. If we werent having over 20 people i think it would be ok..but once it goes over 20 people its really adding up. And my fiance and i just took a look at the dinner options and we want the surf and turf so that creates another dilemna..do we get the love package and just upgrade the meals or go with the ultimate package that includes a few extras?? Soooo frustrating!! Maybe we should just make these decisions when we get there.

Ivan was my first choice..i love love love his work too, but hes just not in our budget. Hopefully i wont regret my decision!!

Oceanwonderland, Thanks for your help, at least i know now that im not the only one dealing with this crap!! My fiance and i got into a huge fight because we had a set budget and with all these charges i had to tell him our budget was not going to be enough. Ugh!! So i had to do the spreadsheet to show him it wasnt me that was making it sooo much extra money!! What package did you get? Because if i get a package i dont want to have to pay to rent the seaside grill out too! The beach was my first choice anyway but i was trying to get the $20 menu so i thought i coudl do it if i rented out the seaside grill...nope!! I think that the beach area is included in the packages for the reception...or i hope its included..i emailed dreams about that today!! Â For the cocktail hour, if we went with the free package we were just oging to have people hang out at a bar and relax until dinner but if we do a package its included for 20..and i dont want to add more money on for people to have crackers! lol i think theyd be ok with limited snacks!! Â The Dj, they told me i couldnt have if i didnt book the seaside grill for a private event! Because i argued that it clearly states in their prices(that they annoyingly keep telling me to read haha) that for a group in the ala carte restaurant you can use the $20 menu. They told me i was correct but i couldnt have music if i did that!! Â I havent even gotten around to thinking about them cutting off the reception earlier then its supposed to be!! We also have ours from for 4 hours (6-10) and for our ceremony. Youll have to let me know how that goes!! Â Thanks for the champagne toast..i also didnt even think about that...the Grand Total keeps going up and up. The funny thing is that we picked Dreams bc it looked to be the most cost efficient for what we were looking for! Obviously we shouldve looked further..bc its really adding up!! Im just hoping when i get there everything works out and its not as bad as i think. Maybe they work with you better once you get there..bc now we're just a million women emailing them a million times!! lol...lets hope!!
