  1. Hello - I tried looking at the pictures but wasn't able to. Can you repost the link? Also, can you girls tell me what the difference is between doing a wedding at a villa than a resort? I know it would be more private but what are prices like and what other things do they offer? Thanks!!! Ana
  2. Hello - Can you girls tell me who the main contact is at Velas Vallarta? I've filled out an RFP a few times but haven't heard back yet. I'm actually going to be there this weekend for site visits and wanted to set up an appointment to see this resort since I've heard great things about it. Thanks! Ana

Hope that helps! Hi there - where do you search for this in the knot? Do you know if they have pictures as well? We're going on a site visit at the end of this month and wanted to get an idea of which churches we should be going to look at as well. Thanks for all of your help!!!

He is an American Priest from Seattle area and he lives in Puerto Vallarta for 9 months, and goes back to Seattle in the summer time. He seriously is the nicest man ever and made our wedding incredible. He got to know us and our families in the 1 day he had to plan....he even came and hung out with us at our reception at Dreams. He truly cared about us - it was amazing. So ladies, if you want any advice, request him - he is awesome and he lives down there and loves to do wedding at Guadalupe. Hi Jess- thanks for the advice and glad to hear you are back!!! I can't wait to see pics from your ceremony at the church! Do you have any pics or reviews? Ana

Best regards! Hello - thanks for getting back to us! What is the name of the big church you're referring to in Cancun? Would you happen to have any photos of it or have you photographed any weddings/etc there? Thanks!!
  6. Hi there - Did you ever find a good one in the Riviera Maya? We are interested in this area but haven't been able to find one as good as the ones in Puerto Vallarta. Thanks! Ana

I don't like the fact that the resort is one of those huge mega AI. If that doesn't bother you, it looks amazing! Hi Silvia - I had not seen this one but it is gorgeous! The one I had clicked on was from the "Luckie" photo album link. It's the 16th picture in the album and does not have the ocean view. It looks like it's a huge church which is what we're looking for. Does anyone know where it is? We are dying to find out!! Thanks! Ana

  10. Hi - do you think you can email this to me? I can't open it for some reason. Thanks!! Ana
  11. Thank you for the info girls!! I'm new to this but am so excited! Jess - what time is your mass going to be? Also will DD be able to decorate the church at all? Kristin had mentioned sometimes it's hard to do so between masses. Let me know! The fact that the whole mass is in English is enough for us - that church is GORGEOUS!! Do you girls mind me asking - how much was it to hire DD? I see what they have done with weddings and it is AMAZING. She hasn't sent me a bid/proposal yet but I was just curious. Thanks Again!! I'll be looking out for your pictures. Congratulations Jess, looks like the date's getting closer for you!
  12. Hello! We have also been thinking of getting married in Puerto Vallarta mainly because of Dazzling Details! Their website looks amazing. We have just started the initial emailing stage with them. For those getting married in a catholic church - will your service be in English? Is it public/private? Will DD be able to decorate the church for the ceremony? I was thinking of having the reception at either Dreams or Grand Velas. Do any of you have any pictures of receptions there? Also - do you have to get in touch with the hotel first or with Dazzling Details first? Thanks for your help! Any tips/insight will be extremely helpful!!
  13. Hello Everyone, We are beginning our wedding planning for next November. We have been looking at both the Riviera Maya and Puerto Vallarta. Can someone please email me pictures of their catholic wedding? Thanks!
