  2. have a great time tonight to all that are going. it is not in the cards for me today...but will definitely try to get to the next one!

  4. Lisa - you are SOOO not the only one. i have been engaged for a year, and i thought that would be the big motivator to lose weight. i am down a whopping 20lbs in that year. i am dissapointed in myself and i get can't get up the motivation to stick to a diet. i need to get my head in the game, but am not sure how to do it.
  5. hmmmm, not long...maybe one and half to two weeks? ...and i picked the "Slow - 21 Day" shipping option. this was from Vistaprint Canada, i don't know if it is different in the US.

Lisa no....i am just leaving us at uneven numbers. it is not the end of the world! the boys side started off at 3 GM and the BM, and is down to 2 GM and the BM...so it won't be that far off!
  8. good luck good luck! i am sure they will be great! mine went out this week, and people are commenting on how lovely they are! my best friend (MOH) who is super critical, didn't even notice the blue line on my envelope. hurray!!
  9. hey Lisa and everyone! we are getting closer and closer! we sent out our invites on Monday and have just received our first RSVP today! the funny thing is - it was the one person we really didn't want there, but felt obliged to invite...LOL. we have our date/ceremony/Pastor York/dinner booked as well as our photographer who is coming from Alberta. we are holding off on the reception site as we need to have an idea of how many people are coming. i have only tried on a couple of dresses, so i haven't oredered anything yet! i have had a little of a birdesmaid setback though. i started off with 3 BM and 1 MOH...and i am down to 1 BM and my MOH! one of my gals just found out she is pregnant and due in Feb...and the other one is having financial probs and doesn't know if she can come at all. i am totally bummed about these girls not being at the wedding, but i understand. this makes the bridesmaid dress hunt much easier - although one is a plus size and one is not...that is the only challenge. i think we are going the Alfred Angelo route, in "Lipstick". so, until we find out how many people are coming, i will just focus on my dress and the BM! easy peasy! (ha!)
  10. JR14 - you can book a package through your TA, and just let the WC know the details (how many rooms under, what names etc..) to get the wedding package deal.

I decided to look one last time and to my delightful surprise I found this site and they are having a sale.... $2.79 per camera and the more you order the bigger the discount. I ordered the tropical design. Super happy!! Wedding Disposable Cameras I hope it helps one of you! oooh, awesome! how much was the shipping to edmonton?

  18. ..based on that dress that KTJ posted above, and from what i have seen on this thread - i would say that Gianinar would do a pretty good job on the body of the dress, but i would worry that the jewelled straps may not come out great. you could always embellish the straps after you get it though, or request more embellishment once they send you the proofs. it is a GORGEOUS dress, good luck!!
