    Honestly - I think they look great and I think you are right - they will be great in the sand. I personally would wear them because I think you will be most comfortable with them in the sand. You won't see the actual shoe - its all about what is the most comfortable for you...go for it! By the way - I love your dress!

    I wonder if I would be charged if I'm flying my photographer in and she and her husband are staying at the resort. I wouldn't think so since they will technically be guests...what do you ladies think? Good idea by the way to do a session the day before - however I think my photographer will be there the day before to do pictures as well. Not sure what to do with the Dreams photographer.

    I so wish they were dark - I planned on getting extensions for my wedding day - this would have been a good deal! Good luck with selling them

    My biggest frustration is not knowing what is going on with the wedding due to poor communication with the wedding coordinator. I have heard from past brides that she is great when you get to the resort but the communication during the planning process is not good at all. I sent her an email over a month ago and haven't gotten a response. Frustrating!

    You are not being selfish at all! My FI sister and her 3 kids couldn't afford to go but it is the closest family member on my FI side so we agreed to pay for their entire trip for her and her 3 kids. Its going to be tight for awhile but for us it worth having them there. Not everyone can afford to do that but I think if you have offered to help in some way they should be able to save in the 14+ months you have given them.

    I believe the 4 days is a Mexico law. No matter where you go in Mexico it will be the 4 days. I could be wrong. That is only if you want a legal ceremony as well. If you just want to do the vows and not legalize it in Mexico you don't have to be down there 4 days. I am getting married at Dreams in June and cannot wait. I have heard a lot of great things about the resort.

    This is so true. I was thinking about putting a thread out there about support groups for those addicted to BDW. I love this forum and don't know what I would do without it! My wedding wouldn't be what it will be without this place! So grateful to Tammy for putting this together for us!

    I would suggest looking at Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa - reasonable and beautiful. Good luck!
