good news! not sure why silly me didn't think of this sooner - but I am off to Vegas for black friday shopping next weekend and Vegas has 3 bridal shops that carry the Maggie Sottero Destination Collection - so i am going to call them and see if they have it on to try on! who hoo thanks ladies! i love this forum!

Hi Ladies, I am still pretty new to the forum and tried searching 'true to fit maggie sottero' but nothing came up so I am hoping that this question wasn't asked already... I went in to try on Wedding Dresses today and almost cried when she the sales lady) told me I would need a size 12 or 14 when normally I wear a size 8. Not sure what brands I was trying on, but I really have my eye on the Maggie Sottero Destination dress style AD3300 and wanted to know how Maggie dresses fit. Reason I am asking is that the closest place that sells the destination collection is 5 hours away but the bridal shop in town that carries the couture collection would be able to order it in for me. So, i was hoping to just figure out my size and then order it. I am so scared of ordering something and thinking it may not look right or fit right. I am also hoping that since it has a corset back that it will give a little bit more room to play with. Soo question...Maggie Sottero - True to Fit? Suggestions and/or comments greatly appreciated! Thanks!

when i talked to my WC she told me that all legal ceremonies in Mexico are done in their first language Spanish and that we would require an English translator if we wanted to understand it (our WC will be the one interpreting the ceremony) I would double check to make sure if its legal ceremonyl or a symbolic ceremony

we originally wanted dec 31 2010 but they don't do weddings on new years eve. So then we decided if we can't have it on the day we wanted to move it to nov 12 2010 - it'll be perfect weather, cheaper costs and some people get the nov 11 2010 off for remembrance or veterans day and it allows us enough time for the 4 business days before the wedding that we have to be in mexico

hmm good question..i am currently in the process of doing STD's and since my wedding date is November 12 2010 and rates wont be up til January 2010, we are just putting our wedding website info on the STD so people can check the updates in regards to wedding events and travel and accomodations. I am sending my STD's hopefully before christmas and then the real invitations in May 2010.

i love it! originally i was going to go with fuschia but the bridesmaid dresses only came in blue or yellow so now i am doing yellow and orange (sunset colors)
