another idea might be to research and see if there is any in the area you are getting married because if there is you don't have to ship the maracas over either! however if it is for your AHR - that might be a dilemma... hmm have you tried ebay?

i am with the other ladies, if you are not completely satisfied let the seller know. show the 2 different photos and explain why you are unhappy. It is very clear that is does not look anything like the original. If it is too late to redo your bouquet, see if she is able just to send a few stems to add color (someone already mentioned it before but i forgot who lol) Good Luck

I have seen good reviews about this place and am going to get mine done there but wanted to see if there was anyone here who took their dress there to get hemmed/altered. i have been engaged since last October 2009 and the first thing i wanted to do was change my status on fb - but then i thought about it - there are some people i didn't want knowing etc... so i still haven't changed it but everyone that i did want to know (who were on fb) knows either through phone call or person

yeah i saw that package too! i'd be cool but i have gel nails and will be getting gel toe nails for the wedding so it doesn't really work for me and most of my bridesmaids have gel nails also! were you able to contact someone from spa oasis? i called and spoke with rodolfo and he told me to just send the info by email as to who the appointment is for, what kind of appointment , preferred date, preferred time and if you prefer a male or female (but i think that is only for facials/massages/ etc...). i haven't had a response yet but it's only been a day...i will try tomorrow - yeah i think its great that its next door. i hope they are able to squueze my bridesmaids and i in for my wedding day. p.s. have a good rest of the weekend~

here is how the finished product looked

I received my frame and it looks like the normal size for the frame. I guess some websites just advertised the sizes wrong. Anyhoo...I did glue panels 2 and 4 (all 3 sides to the frame) with Florabond glue and waited 24 hours before testing out the sand frame. The sand didn't leak or seep through - i used 2 - 500gram sand containers (bought at the dollarama store) to test it and found i still needed just a little extra at the top. p.s. i used tons of florabond because i didn't want sand to seep or leak through and i ended up getting some on the glass panel. i tried to wipe it with a damp cloth and then tried to scrape it with a blade and it didnt work so then i decided to be creative and made a 'glue' edge border on the glass panel...when it dried it looked not bad! i just didn't want to ruin the ether frame since with shipping it cost me $40 (@urbane.ca) and i hear it's hard to find now.

i am not doing a AHR....i wanted to have the destination wedding be the only wedding celebration. I am having a jack n jill bridal shower hosted by my mom and aunts in a hall with a DJ and food and games so it'll kinda be like an AHR but it'll be a bridal shower instead before we leave for Mexico.
