Do you think they would travel well (like 60 of them?)... I like them but the stadium cups slide inside of each other so they will fit into my suitcase ok.

Congrats on your engagement!!... just so you will know to check.. when you get to that point of looking at actual prices, in my experience (we tried for Valentines Day) it was 1/2 the price to go the weekend before... apparently its the most popular wedding day of the year? I am sure you will create your dream Happy planning!

I think wherever you stay in Negril you can go to Ricks and jump off of the cliff (and not so much surf there I dont think- but beautiful sand!)... there are sunset booze cruises that go there for cliff jumping and hh... sound so fun:) Welcome and happy planning!

We are pretty easy-going with this, but here are a few parameters: - easy flight access from Boston and Montreal - family-friendly resort (e.g. kids can come) - relaxing resort layout (not a big fan of gigantic hotel towers) - golf nearby would be nice, but not necessary Probably the most challenging aspect is finding a resort nice enough that my 5-star resort hopping relatives are not going to be disgusted with, but that also won't be so pricey that less well-off relatives won't be able to afford (or we can't afford to help them out...) Thanks, Jackie We are doing the Beaches (AI) Negril and Beaches is the family friendly version of Sandals... not sure about the golf though... my TA said nice things about Hilton Rose Hall and they are both friendly and have a nice golf course (and sig cheaper than Beaches) -

I really do not want sand on my dress, which is why I Negril (the Cliffs) was appealing. Anyway, most will be traveling from the east coast. Any suggestions? We are getting married at Beaches Negril (its an AI as are many places in Jamaica) and it is on a beautiful 7mi stretch of sand. Many places (east coast) have direct flights into Montego Bay... we are not getting married on the beach, but in a gazebo overlooking the beach (I am short and want my high heels :0) Happy planning, this site is very helpful!!

I am planning to get Lancome to do me a makeover. You can call them and they will do you one for free. Was hoping to get some ideas from them. They will also give you a weeks of liquid makeup for free to try. Hoping for the best with that. I love Sephora. I am totally nuts in wedding overload... I can barely have a conversation that doesnt lead back to it... I love it though, tonight emergen-c, anti-bug wipes and motrin arrived (for the oot bags)... spent about 2-3 hours on the phone with calls for the AHR (my dad wants to bbq on the beach at the reception hall)... and am throwing a slight fit at the lack of customer service beaches is providing (I just want to get the details settled, its not that far off and I get no email or return calls) Started Jillian's 30 day shred 2 days ago and am walking like an invalid today .lol

MsGoodRich- I am in love with Maybelline 12 hr lipsticks...they actually stay on for like 4 hours at a time. I apply them in the morning before going to work talk say "hello, hello, good morning, hello, good morning........ like a million times.... then start in with can i get you a drink like a million times.... then comes can i get you a snack... what do I have? I have these options (to every DAMN customer!!) and the lipstick seems to stay in place for about 4 hours.... and lets not for the thank you, good bye now, thank you! LOVE being a flight attendant somedays (dripping with sarcasm!) I am worried about the mascara I am so emotional and I worried that I am going to cry from riding up it the horse and carriage to seeing him and all the way through my vows!! Any great waterproof mascaras ladies? I am worried about crying too- once the waterworks get going its hard to stop. My borrowed thing is a hankie...Ive always used covergirl (the pink and green bottle) mascara and had good results. I will try the Mabelline 12 hr... and will have to practice kissing with my honey (darn!) thanks for the suggestions.

That is really my concern...I want people to be able to use them if they are leaving the resort for the day on a tour or something. yes, ... they are 14" by 16"... if it was a huge towel like a bathsheet the bag would be pretty full but I am happy to think that the guests will probably use them as beach bags -

First of all FI told me she called him this week at work to chat about the wedding. She was feeling that I was cutting corners with cost and she understands I am still paying off my son's schooling and trying to get my business going. She offered my FI money towards our wedding. Which he politely declined and said we're fine. Which we totally are and would never accept her help. Love her dearly however we're both over 40 and yeah if we don't have our crap together at this point we shouldn't be getting married. so we're there for dinner and she brings this up again and I say thanks and we have it all under control. I am by not means cutting corners and i am not spending a ton of money on things that are not important to me. Anyway she leaves the room and comes back with this huge red folder thingy and gives it to me. Holy Flippin Crap!!!! I am looking at the cover and it has a lady in a mink coat on it. I am looking totally baffled, so is FI, she then says to me " I want to buy you a mink coat for a wedding gift from me. I am speechless "yup me, not a word can i find. So I open this folder and it is about custom made coats and they start at $6000. First i am not sure how I feel about a fur coat and second not something I would ever think about owning. So here I am stunned to no end, speechless and overwhelmed!!!! I finally got out of my mouth "I don't know what to say". I am very grateful that she cares that much about me and would think to buy something so expensive for me as a wedding gift. BUT I don't know how I feel about it.... Where the hell would I wear it and would I wear it? She asked me to call her this week she would like for me to have it or be fitted for it before she goes away the beginning of December. I am totally shocked!!!!! I feel like crap because I thought she invited us for dinner to complain about the wedding... What would you gals say? I am really not sure how I am feeling. Susie, That's such a tough situation! Very gentle honesty (whatever you decide) is probably whats on order... fur coats are not for me, but to each their own. Its a kind and flattering thing that she wants to get you a gift but I think since it is such an expensive gift, you own it to her to not allow her to get it if it is not what you really want. on a totally different tangent, I was thinking today and wondering when we are at the altar, what do you wear as lipstick? Are you guys wearing lipstick? Lipstain? Neat? Is it ok to have lipstick on when you are about to have an important kiss? Hope everyone had a good weekend (the Bucs won, so it was good for us!)

I know for a Nov 2010 bride I am doing so much very earlier, but I hate waiting to do anything at the last minute. I found on here someone linking this custom suit site for linen suits for 99$... I think we are going to go that route for the groomsmen and my FI will go to Brooks Brothers or something (he is not so enthusiastic as I) Studiosuits.com, Custom Suits | Designer Suits there is a forum on grooms clothing for more info
