  1. So when is the best time for the guest book to be out?? Our DW timeline of events is pretty tight and I'm wondering when everyone else is putting theirs out?? And how do you make sure you have it back at the end of the night??
  2. I tried it at Moksha Yoga here and I really liked it but the 45 min drive each way has deterred me from going back. I wish they had one a little closer to me!
  3. The GBP Akumal still has them. I was there for NYE this year and we're getting married there this month. They didn't both us at all. People were playing on them and having a great time. They also made the water from the beach to them lots more family friendly! To each his own I guess!

Best (quiet place) at the resort is at the Premier Lobby bar which is between the Akumal and the Coba. We'll get the details figured out and see if Erica wants to join us!
  6. We're using Signature as well and our lowest price was for our Calgary departures because they got into a price war with Airtransat. It was $980 taxes in! They got a SWEET deal! The rest of our departure points were up to $1500 taxes in.
  7. I've been trying to get FI's combats/fatigues... maybe his jacket... not sure how easy that's going to be. Might have to just use a Flames jersey!

  10. We booked Gran Bahia Principe Coba because the rooms were the best for the best prices (wedding is at the Akumal beach location). We too had people coming from Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver!

  12. We're there April 21-28! We should try and arrange a drink with us and Erica
  13. Had my stagette/shower this weekend! We had such a good time and I'll be spending the next 3 weeks exercising off all those treats and liquid calories! We're under 30 days to our wedding and about 3 weeks before we leave now! We're both getting super excited. My boudoir photo shoot is next Saturday, we're finishing up our music list, mailing off the last of the favours (so we don't have to cart our mugs down to mexico, they can do it for us!), tanning and getting my dress altered. FI is still on the look out for pants and I need to get a pedi, a bikini wax, and go trip shopping for suits and capris.
  14. How long did you go for Holly?? If your skin is that fair, you should have gone less than 5 min. I go 3-4 min when I first start tanning.
  15. Ours is $900. Its a symbolic ceremony only so you do have to get legal somehow first We're doing it here at home
  16. We're having a Mayan Ceremony as well. We don't REALLY know what to expect. There's not alot of info on it out there in the internetz. We're super excited though based on what we've seen and read. It will be so unique. Our wedding will be talked about for a long time amongst our friends and family!
  17. We're going tanning too. We always go to get a base tan so that an afternoon spent in the water with not enough sunscreen applications doesn't end up in pain for days. I'm less concerned with getting the tan "glow" so much, more I just want to have some flexibility to not have to constantly be slathering sunscreen on every hour.
  18. Those are so beautiful Katie! I love the ones in the black outfit... the number 40+ pics! They are so soft and sultry. You made it look so easy! Thank you for sharing these with us!
  19. I emailed giananar bridal too and told them that I wasn't happy with my dress measurements either. When I went to get it altered the dressmaker measured me and my body hasn't changed really at all since I sent them the measurements but the dress is at least a size too big. She has to take out almost 6", that's not acceptable since I sent them the measurements. They replied and said they checked it against the measurements. I told them to fire whoever said they checked it because it definitely is NOT those measurements!! They offered me a measly $20 refund for my trouble or $129 if I return the dress. Well I can't return it. My wedding is a month away so I have to work with what I have. I asked them to refund me more so we'll see what they say.
  20. Jules - wow, I'm so impressed by your laidback attitude!! Make sure you tell us all about it when you're back!! I wish you clear skies, happy guests and a beaming crying Fiance as you walk down the aisle!! Congratulations!
