Thanks JamieJ! We're even more excited now! I can't wait to see pictures if you're posting any! We just booked a site visit for Dec 30-Jan 6! It was a great deal for the Coba over NYE so we decided to just do it. And we only had to pay $11 more pp for the GOLD club! We're going to contact our WC and see if she'll take a little time to meet with us while there so we can iron out anything that we're feeling we need a little more personal touch on. We're so excited!!!

swong - our decision was mostly motivated by price honestly. It was the least expensive of the 3. However, having JR suites instead was also a big reason for us to choose the Coba.

Welcome back JaimieJ! I would love more info on the Mayan Blessing as that is what we're doing. There's not alot of reviews about this type of ceremony there so whatever you can tell me would be helpful!

Can anyone who has been there tell me how far it is from the Akumal Beach location (Dolce Vita specifically) to the Coba pools? Also how far from the Coba pools to the Hacienda (disco)?? We're trying to figure out how far everything is away from each other between these 2 resorts and the map isn't great for distances so we're worried about getting up to 40 people where they need to be in time! Also, for those brides that mailed some of their items ahead of time to the resort... where did you mail it to?? I'm thinking of this because of baggage restrictions.

For those of you with the iPod questions. I'm so glad that my TA has actually blocked off the seats for each of our departure points so now we're guaranteed seats for our guests. I'd be freaking!

Yep we got the 26th person free. We did decide to give our guests both options lara. $186 more to allow them to wait until March to pay.

We have about 40 ppl coming probably. We have a group rate... sucks though because in order to secure it for everyone they all have to pay in full by the end of this month. Our group has got 18 days to pay about $60,000. Our TA is really good. She's been comparing all the different options for us and what's best for our guests but unfortunately Signatures rates are the best. Their payment options however... are not.

I don't want to stress you out but... our wedding was originally in May too. 2 months of waiting for prices and we gave up and moved our date to April just so we could book something. Our guests had been hassling us for rates and when/where for so long. We've been fighting with Signature on this for a long time now. We have guests coming out of Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary & Toronto. We couldn't get a flight out of Winnipeg so our guests coming from there are going to have to probably drive down to the states to get a decent fare. I do hope you have better luck than we have so far. Air transat had better incentives/payment options but their rates were too high. Same with Sunquest, Westjet, Aircanada....
