I get the same way. I end up getting cranky with him before he leaves, too - not fun at all! Shopping and mani/pedis definitely help! Thankfully FI doesn't travel often.

When I first saw this thread I thought - hmmm, I'm not really sure what my biggest stress is, so I'll wait to post anything. Now that we are about 4 months away from the big day and 2 months away from people needing to book their rooms I have found my biggest stressor: People not responding to the invites and people who said "Yes! we'll be there - we can't wait!" are now saying "I am so sorry but I am just not going to be able to make it." I completely understand that the economy is such that a trip to Belize may not work for everyone but having people back out is really a bummer

I finally got myself back to the gym last night and I am going again tonight! I am vowing to stick to a healthy eating plan over the holidays. I also received the South Beach challenge for the new year in their daily email - I will be sure to sign up for that on January 1st!

Great idea I think we may have to borrow the idea to add to the welcome bags - it would be fitting as FI and I live in Texas now.

We are in the same situation - in a new city w/o friends or family so the dress is being stored in a closet in a spare room. FI knows to ask if it's okay to go in there w/o me and doesn't go anywhere near the closet. Although, that's all my doing; he does not mind seeing the dress before the big day.
