  8. I wish I had a secret stash. I had money put away, but we bought a house last March and unfortunately had some things come up and the money needed to be spent. I was planning on getting a great photographer for 8 hours instead of the resort one for 3hrs, but I don’t have the money.

Â I never really liked ordering shoes online, but I ended up doing it anyway for my wedding shoes. My size ranges from an 8 to a 91/2 so I never know what size to get. It sucks because there are SO many cute shoes online! Â
  11. Hi everybody! This thread hasn't been too active lately, but I had a question for those of you who had travel to Aruba and brought food/snacks with you. We leave in 22 days and we are bringing all of the OOT bag items with us and checking it at the airport. We are bringing mini alcohol bottles, chips, mints, and chocolate among other things. If you total all the alcohol bottles it doesn't exceed the customs regulations, but what about food? Will we have an issue bringing it in? I can't find any regulations on it. Thanks! Â Â babigirl21 - Sorry I am getting married at the Westin. And there was no free honeymoon deal.

  13. We considered this and we almost did it but we really wanted a first dance and parent dance and I also wanted to dance all night. Â You can go to the restaurant for dinner and then go to a club or bar for music after dinner. Maybe the hotel has a casual bar that would play a song for you so you can still have a first dance.

  15. Thanks everyone for the advice. So what we have decided on doing is have a few songs play from a sound system for the ceremony, then we hired a Steelpan player for the cocktail hour and then a DJ for the reception. Since originally we were going to do the sound system for the CH I started picking songs (I had about 10 so far) so I ended up giving that to the DJ for the type of dinner music we would like and used the website tanyasdream2010 posted and gave the DJ a mini list of the songs we like. I did ask the DJ (well the WC) and they didn't have a sample list of songs so I gave him a list of about 15 songs we like so the DJ has an idea of the type of music we want.

  17. Last night I did 30 minutes on the treadmill for a light jog. Â I normally do a workout class at lunch, but I hurt my toe last night and can't put on sneakers. Maybe tonight I will do yoga or pilates.
  18. BUMP Â Ok, so this hasn't been an active thread for Years, but this is totally what I need. I think it is a great idea and I am hoping there are other out there that agree and maybe we can get this going again. Â Â So I have 31 days to lose at least 4lbs (definitely doable) and would love to tone up my flabby arms for a bit for my strapless dress. Long term goal is to lose a total of 14lbs and have nice toned arms. I am doing WW and I workout at home with my treadmill, elliptical or my library of workout dvds. Last night I did P90x Kenpo x. Tonight I think I will do the treadmill for at 45minutes while I watch SATC episodes that my FI bought me. Â I already lost 30 lbs as of January 2009, and kept it off until November and from then until lasy May I gained back 15lbs. I now want to get back to where I was (and lose another 5lbs) and stay there.
  19. HI everyone! So how is everyone doing? I have 31 days until I have to fit into my wedding dress! As of right now it barely zippers up and I have a major muffin top. I need to lose at least 3 - 4 pounds by then, but the more the better. I absolutely can do it as long as I stick to the program and workout. But I was wondering...... Â What are some of your favorite meals on the program? What are some of your tricks you like to use to stick to your daily points and not be hungry? Any other tips you ladies do on WW to be successful?
  20. Woo Hoo! Yes I did! I did the P90x Kenpo X dvd last night. Hopefully that is the end of my week long break.
  21. We are going to have 3 suitcases, a carry-on size luggage (we checked the size requirements of Continental), my dress, and a "personal item" that will be a big shoulder bag. One suitcase will be my FI's, one and 1/2 will be my travel stuff, 1/2 of the suitcase will be the unbreakable wedding stuff, and the carry-on luggage will be all the breakable sutff and anything that didn't fit into the suitcases. My carry-on will be my dress and my personal item will be my big bag with all the usual travel stuff my FI and I carry on when we fly. Â Â And if we run out of room either because I packed too much or the weight limits I am going to give some stuff to my parents.
