He says that most people are the worst at nutrition because they don't realize some of the things they think are good are actually bad. Also patience is key when trying to lose weight and keep it off. Good Luck with it all! I agree. Weight loss is all about calories burned less calories consumed. And you have to exercise and eat right to lose weight. I do Weight Watchers, and the program has worked great for me, but I do know that writing down your food and tracking calories (or points for me) helps you lose weight. I have read in several places that people who track their food lose twice as much weight as people who don't. I would try to eating healthy most of the time, tracking your food, and try and get some type of activity in every day. Good luck!

  3. extremely tense day at work : bored at work
  4. I bought a pair of white low rise panties that say bride on the butt with a small blue bow on the front. I wanted something cute, but comfortable.
  5. DIY Wedding Stuff : Alot of work
  6. 1 hour 10 minutes on treadmill; half jog, half power walk.
  7. I think you need to try them on and see what dress looks best with your body type. If you are getting married on a beach I would go with the first dress. It seems more appropriate for a beach/outdoor wedding. If you aren’t getting married on a beach/outdoor setting, I would go with the second dress. I love it and it is a beautiful dress, but too big and heavy for outside.
  8. I don't remember what thread I read it in, but I read that other brides melted max on top of the sand to seal it. Our sand ceremony frame has a way of seal the sand so it doesn't spill out, but I am just worried about it getting all mixed up on the way home.
  9. LOL- I guess I have to say like since I do it all the time.... Working out on the treadmill?
  10. the most interesting photographs ever : TTD
  11. Well I have 4 months to go, but I am trying out products and things now. I am getting the Listerine whitening strips (I heard they are best for people with sensitive teeth), a face scrub (I already have a doctor’s prescribed cleanser for acne that I have under control so far and a moisturizer I love), I am going to try out a tanning salon, and I am getting my nails done. I want to try all the products and salons and all now to find the ones I like so when a month or so before the wedding I know exactly what I like and what works best for me and my skin. Other than what I listed above, I am getting my hair done a month before the wedding and possible a facial a month before.
  12. Well our parents our paying for the wedding, but my mom paid for my dress from money she has been saving. She wanted to make sure she bought my dress. Your mom might have something else in mind that she would want to do for you. Honestly, if I was in your position I wouldn't say anything to my mom. I would plan on paying for everything and hope I will be surprised. I would feel horrible talking to my mom to see if she is going to pay for something for the wedding. If she did help out I would want it to come from her, not from me saying something to her.
  13. 60 minutes on the treadmill; half jog, half power walk.
  14. don't need to do yet : I need to do alot
  15. Did 45 minutes on the treadmill; half jog, half power walk. Tonight I will be doing yard work.
  16. I would wait. Not even thinking about the travel issues, if you don't consider you married till Mexico, then you shouldn't change your name. My FI and I are getting married in PA before we go to Aruba, but we don't think of ourselves as getting married, just handling some paper work. I don’t want to change my name until we have our ceremony in Aruba.
  17. I would give them some time. The resorts will prioritize their emails by whose wedding is first and they probably have a lot of weddings going on right now. If you don’t hear from them soon I would send another email. I know my WC sometimes take a while to get back to me but if I don’t hear from him in a week he always sends me an email letting me he will get back to me, or if he knows he won’t be able to respond right away he will send an email to just let me know he will respond as soon as he can.
  18. relaxing : laying on the beach
  19. I agree with everyone and unless you gained weight from when the shop took your measurements, the shop needs to fix it. You don’t look like you need to lose anything and I can’t believe they would tell you to lose weight! That dress looks amazing on you!! Hopefully the shop will fix the dress for you.
  20. My vote is for Frank Sinatra - The Way you Look Tonight. I love that song. I think that the song doesn't have to say something about dad or daughters for it to be a good song. I would go with whatever you want, even if it is something you might not really hear again on the radio like you said about #1.
  21. Thanks for the idea! I posed a request on Etsy for a custom cake topper. I found one I liked online, but I wanted it made to look like us. It is the cake topper that the bride I pulling the groom by the leg. I am asking for someone to make the bride and groom similar to us (it doesn't have to be exact). I already got a few bids too!
  22. Well I am going to start posting on here. I need some major motivation and I need to get my butt in gear! I have my BD session in 19 days and I would like to loss as much as possible, but at least 5lbs. I wanted to be 135lbs for the BD session, but do to laziness I am 149 right now so I have to settle with 145. Also, my wedding dress doesn’t fit. It is too tight and I need to be 140lbs for it to fit and I would like to be 130lbs for the wedding in 4 months and 1 day. So those are my goals. Tonight after work I want to either do 45 minutes on the treadmill and do an ab dvd workout or do Jillian Michael’s Boost Metabolism dvd. Hopefully I will post tomorrow saying I worked out and I ate a good dinner!

Thanks for the idea!
