Ivory or Off White Flip Flops??

And Advantage Bridal was easy to work with, the price was right, and they arrived quickly -- I'd HIGHLY recommend these flip-flops to one and all! Thanks for the recommendation! I have been looking for ivory wedges that were at least under $30 and I just ordered them! They are being discontinued but they still had my size and color! -

Well we ended up picking Unforgetable by Nat King Cole for our combined mother/son and father/daughter dance. Everyone loves that song, it isn't too lovey dovey and it itsn't too long.

Uhh... I know I should get my dress altered sooner rather than later, but as of right now it doesn't even zipper. I am so mad at myself for regain weight I already lost, then not losing it earlier so I wouldn't have to worry about my dress not fitting or me not being able to be the weight I wanted to be for the wedding. I think by mid-August whatever weight I am at the time I will need to suck it up and get my dress altered. Runningbride- I would love to know some of your tips for eating more protein. I am horrible at eating enough of it. I am a carb lover and the only protein I get is from chicken, turkey, extra lean ground beef, beans, and yogurt. I like all seafood except fish. I try it all the time and make it different ways but I just don't like it.

I just had a few months of stress over money and the baby fever started to go away, but even though the stress didn't leave (I think it got worse ) the baby fever is getting stronger! All I think about now is baby names! -
Hmm…… I got my dress at David’s Bridal so maybe I will call and give them my style number and see what they think, even though I am not even sure where I am getting my dress altered at. I have heard bad things from brides getting their dresses altered at David’s Bridal. I have a tailor I go to but I don’t know if I want to risk getting my wedding dress altered there since if I go to DB and the mess up at least I will probably be able to get them to get me a new dress if needed.

But I won't have it altered until closer to the wedding date as FI and I are now doing P90X and I'd like to drop 10 lbs before the wedding. I am kinda in the same boat and I want to lose weight before the wedding, but I need to drop 20lbs and tone up big time. So when is everyone getting their dress altered? Right now my dress can't even zipper all the way up so I can't get it altered now, but I don't want to wait too long and risk not getting the dress back in time. I have to get a bustle so if anything the dress needs to zipper up so I can at least get that done and if I drop the 20lbs in a reasonable time I might have to get my dress taken in a bit. I was hoping to take it in August, but I heard some brides do it 4 months plus before the wedding.

This is so frustrating, but ours isn't as bad as some of you on here. We invited 88 people and never heard from 36 and today was the deadline. It just doesn't make sense. They get a stamped, addressed envelope and a card that they only have to check off yes or no and they can't even do that? I don't care if it is no, just tell me. I don’t plan on following up with anyone. I am going to assume they are no. And now I have to worry about the people who said they were going but haven’t booked. In my eyes, you aren’t coming till you’re booked. It is too easy to come up with an excuse on why you can’t go if you haven’t booked yet.

Tonight will most likely be the treadmill again but I have to start strength training so maybe a DVD or wii game to start toning those muscles.

Confession 1- I love this thread and wish I found it months ago. Confession 2- I am going down the shore from Thursday night to Sunday and I KNOW I will end up eating bad. No matter what I tell everyone else about how I am going to try to eat fruit and granola bars and eat healthy, I am going to see all the boardwalk goodies and go nuts. And I am trying to lose weight that I shouldn't have gained back in the first place for my boudior photos in 11 days on 7/11. Confession 3- I'm with kittenheart and I want chocolate and wine now too!

Thanks for the input. I will start making out the thank you cards I think to the girls only, unless the card was signed by both. All the cards except for 3 were signed by just the girls. I have decided to get my mom a 90 minute massage and get myself one too and then take her out to lunch. I think that is something she will love.

OK, so this past Sunday I had my bridal shower. It was an amazing bridal shower and I was so surprised!! I honestly had no idea it was my shower. My mom threw it for me (no MOH or BMs) and my brother’s gf helped along with my dad, brother and FI. So, now I want to go out this week and get thank you cards, but I have a few questions and I couldn’t find the answer on here… 1-When I make out the thank you cards, do I thank that woman that went to the shower or the woman and her husband? All the girls at the shower signed the gifts with just their name, but is it assumed it is from the guys too? 2-Since my Mom threw me an amazing shower I wanted to give her a small gift, but what? I really want her to know how much I appreciate her throwing a shower for me.

I’m sorry about your Dad wendy! That’s great to hear he is doing well and out of the hospital. Well, my dress DOESN’T fit! It fit when I bought and when I picked it up then holidays, birthdays, bought a new house, moved and fixed up the old house to sell my weight went up and the zipper on my dress doesn’t go all the way up anymore. Talk about motivation! About a month ago things finally settled down so I started getting back into losing weight. I only lost 5lbs in 4 weeks, but I am on my way there. I want to get my dress altered in July and I have my BD session on 7/11 so those are my big motivators right now. Runningbride24- that’s so cool you manage a personal training business! My cousin’s husband has a small personal training business. I wish it was near where I lived! I love having a personal trainer. They always push me more than I push myself. Welcome glenny05!

Courtney I got the Etsy frame with the picture. I’m not a vegetarian but I make this one meal a lot. I try to have at least one meatless meal a week. This is for one person, but you can make it for as many people as you need. 1 medium sized potato ½ cup black beans, drained & rinsed ¼ cup salsa 1 ounce Reduced fat shredded Mexican cheese (I use Weight Watchers) 1 TBSP Fat Free Sour cream Bake potato in microwave for 4 to 6 minutes or until the potato is soft when you put a fork through it. Cut open potato. Top with salt, pepper, and cheese first so it melts on the potato. Then add the black beans, salsa and sour cream. -

I think there is a way to change the picture in the frame when you get home. I think there are instructions on the site. I bought the Etsy frame and it is great! I really do think it is worth the money IMO.

Bummed..... I didn't work out last night. We had a bad storm in the area and my train to get me home from work was down so it took over 2 hours to get home (normally about 30-40minutes) and I was starving when I finally walked in the door. I just ended up eating and never working out. I know, I know, all excuses. I will be doing yard work tonight so at least I will be active tonight even though I won't burn that many calories.
