I just checked with Kelley and unfortunately they still don't do legal ceremonies on Las Caletas. You have to get married beforehand which they can do, just not at the site. She is going to send me more information about what they offer for the legal side of things.

WOW!! It is absolutely gorgeous. What a great find... I am so jealous! My prairie locale doesn't have anything nearly that beautiful around here!

I have just started working with TA Lindsay from this forum. So far she has been fantastic to talk with. Lots of ideas and experience to draw from. She just gave me one quote that was easily in our budget and since we have changed from Nov to Feb I really thought we would have to be changing resorts to keep it in the budget. I think she is actually in Regina too. Good luck!

Hey Ladies! I am glad to find this thread. Sometimes I feel like I am a bit crazy to be planning things so far out but I am glad to find that I am not the only one! I finally have the location decided but don't have anything booked yet so dates could still change. I have just started talking with TA Lindsay from the forum too and am so happy to get advice from someone who has done this themselves! It is hard to be patient but I am happy to find all of you to wait with!

I did it!! I finished the old Las Caletas thread front to back! All 1976 posts... And now it is 1am again and I am still awake... Anyhow, thanks to all the previous LC brides for the great posts and information. I am so excited to get my date confirmed and the deposit down. Quick confirmation from the old post information though - it sounds like you def cannot get legally married at LC but have to do it on the dock before you leave or in PV? Sound right? We weren't going to do a legal here before leaving but I am now thinking we should and save us the trouble of running around for blood tests etc.

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to get on here and say thank you, thank you, thank you!! I have been searching this website since I got engaged two months ago looking for THE PLACE. Well, thanks to your reviews of LC I really think I have found it. I am so excited! And best of all, when I showed FI the pics of LC he got excited too. Now to just decide on the date. Right now we are leaning towards Feb 2011 - we are starting to build a house this April so have a busy year ahead. But wow! that seems like a long time to wait... Thanks for all the ideas and discussion - keep it up so I can keep dreaming of my perfect day!
