I was having the same dilemna. I eventually decided not to stick to the standard package offered by Dreams (Los Cabos.) I chose to get the basic package that is offered for free (that did not include the photographer) because I liked other photographers work in the area and with the packages that were offered the photographer was only available to me for one hour and the videographer was available for aprox. 45 mins. I wanted much more time and pics without having to pay the extra per hour charge. It works out in the end. The packages are helpful, but you don't have to stick to it entirely. This forum was soooo helpful, because I had no clue that you can really customize these packages to suit you and your needs. If you need me to, I can share the way I customized my package with my WC. OK, it is nice to know that I am not the only one wanting to poke peoples eyes out!! I sent out Save the date emails that attached my wedding website info. I then sent out 50 invites with RSVP cards. So far I have received one card back and that was only because I called and asked her to mail it in. I am going to have to suck it up and call or have someone else call to see WTF is up with them not mailing back the RSVP cards. So far we have 7 plus the bride and groom booked, but only received one RSVP card and that was a person that declined the invite. Go figure. I am sure you will have a wonderful wedding and you will have everyone there that matters. Congrats, you time is approaching.

I went on the 18th for the sneak peak..I bought a slew of stuff. I love that store. And yes, it is sooo much more convenient than driving to Queens or the one near Woodbury Commons!

Thank you ladies. I had the idea to get pashminas, I just worried about them still being cold. You are right though, I won't change my plans!!!! I live near the wholesale garment district. I can find pashminas of good quality for $30 for a dozen. I need to take the time to go down and pick them up.. tick tock, tick tock. shellk... you are too funny. Is it for religious reasons that you didn't choose 2/14?

Luckily Dreams provides a free room for him to stay in the night before. Ask the resort you are staying in if this is an option. You never know, if you have brought them enough business, they might provide a room for the night. You never know until you ask!!
