  2. Welcome to the forum. I began this forum not having a clue what an OOT bag was and now with the help of this forum and my wedding coordinator, I am confident that my wedding will be absolutely amazing. These girls on this forum are very inspiring and kind. You will be fine. Ask your questions and rember that it is your day and try not to let the small things stress you out. You will be fine. Keep having fun and being inspired again, welcome to the forum.
  3. Well I am back from the fitting and I am feeling fabulous!!!! The dress was still as beautiful as I remembered and it needed to be taken in in a few places .... whoo hoo thank goodness for a fast metabolism and those darn Skecher shoes I walk in all day at work.. Toned the bottom and those legs!! I will post pics tonight when I get in from my first scrapbooking gathering. I had to join the group to break up some of the wedding craziness!!

OK so its not just me! thank goodness, I thought I needed therapy to get over my food issues!!

This way we can look back at the postcards in a few years and really see how much fun everyone had at our wedding. I will also be putting extra ones in there so that they can send out to family and friends if they like. I am holding off on doing anything right now as Im not too sure of our date yet.....but I have my template saved at vistaprint. I dont know how they make their money either!! I love vistaprint - have used them for so many things already and have had no problems whatsoever!! Love the idea......however Im a little biast....hehe What a great idea!! I have 100 and about 30-40 guest attending so I will put one or for each guest with clear address labels with our address and then 1 or 2 in there that they can send to other people. I LOVE that Idea!! I have used vistaprint for several items and always got them for free while only paying shipping charges. It's a fact that they spam the heck out of you almost weekly, if not 2 times a week offering you something, but you just have to be smart enough not to buy each time you get an email. I would use them again because I have never had a problem with them. I just delete the mass emails they send out until I NEED to order something. I hope no one on this forum has had a difficult time dealing with them.
  6. Thanks ladies!!! The fitting went great. It was too big so they pinned it everywhere, but I loved the way it looked even with the pins in it lol. I will post pics when I get in from my first scrapbooking group meeting . whooo hooo!! I think I will have a honeybun to celebrate. LOL. Shellk- I am so happy that your fitting went well!! I will have another honeybun in your honor

I was just joking. Thank you for the heads up!! I will plan accordingly. I can't function in extreme heat, so I am just hoping that it is comfortable. I will be on cloud nine anyway so as long as it doesn't rain on my parade..I am a happy camper!

Nooo you don't need 150 posts to attach pics you need 150 posts to open up links within a message (pdfs and word documents) To add pics to your messages, you have to set up a photobucket.com account, put all of the pics in an album there that you want to post. When you click on the share a picture link for the picture you want to post (on photobucket)... a drop down box will come up... copy the link that says share a link...then click on the box that says share a link for message boards and forums copy that link.... Then reply to a thread or start a thread and click on the picture on the top of the dialogue box (has bold italics, center etcetera.)The one that looks like mountains with a sun in the top right corner of the box, it will ask for a link the link you will paste here will come from your picture on photobucket.com. Hope that made sense, but that is how you post pics.. now let us see those decals
  14. Hello ladies, I am in the process of growing my hair out, but I am not going to get it to the length I envisioned before the big day, I am trying to avoid extensions. Do you have any short to medium hair inspiration pics to share??

(it's a daycare learning centre for disabled children). I was approached yesterday by the owners to manage the daycare for them. They have asked me to come work for them Dec. 1. I am standing there in my cleaning clothes I had just clean two houses that morning and I looked like the bag lady and I was offered a job. I had got a call from the one owner in the morning asking if i could drop by he had some questions for me. I am thinking there is an issue with the invoice I sent them or the work. Prepared for the worst!!! So I am going in on Monday to discuss it further and find out more details like $$$$$. Isn't that just the koolest? Not sure if I want to give up my own business though!!! Have a great day chickies!!!!!!! YAY! that would put anyone in a great mood!! Wow, that's nice!!! I completely understand about not knowing if you want to give up your own business. I am a business owner too, but what you could consider is hiring a manager to manage your business (still keeping your head and hands close by) and possibly part time with the new endeavor.. whatever you decide YOU ROCK for looking like a bag lady and landing a job!! lol. Congrats! And many kudos to you for working with disabled children. That's my field. I am a Speech Language Pathologist and I heart my kiddos!

I hate it!!!! I refuse to take sleeping pills so I deal with the lack of sleep. True confession here, FI is going away for a week and leaving me home to deal with his emotional 15 year old and I am just dreading it. he leaves on the 23rd for 6 nites and she has started with the attitude already. I had a arguement with her last night i came home and she was cutting apple on the counter top and I asked her to use one of the dozen or so cutting boards we have and she rolled her eyes and continued. I pulled out cutting board and she made the final cut on the counter top. Had a discusion about that last nite. Then this morning she was on MSN and she isn't allowed in the morning because she is always late for school. Oh got the bathroom door slammed in my face. So just waiting for FI to come home he is dropping her off at dance for 5 hours yippee..... Tonite is date nite... unfortunately we have to discuss these issues and deal with them. She has been very difficult at times... Yeah what I don't share with my girls? Thanks for listening Sorry that she is being difficult doors slammed, cutting on the counter top.. difficult position that you are in. Maybe you can kill her... NO I don't mean that kind of kill her!!..kill her with kindness. Is your FI supportive of conquering the problem. THere is nothing worse than being treated unfairly by someone and when you tell someone, they are in denial and looking at you like you must be mistaken. I hope you work things out and she sees just how wonderful you are . Try not to take it personal. She is just acting out because she is jealous of your relationship with her dad. At that age, they want to be the apples of their daddys eyes.. at least I did. I was and always will be a daddys girl. Good luck talking it over with your FI
