I completely understand about not feeling like Xmas shopping. I don't even feel like traveling for Thanksgiving. My FI wants to go to Atlanta for Thanksgiving to spend time with his mother.. the problem is I CANT STAND HIS MOM!! (LOOOONG story there!! its a justifiable disliking, believe me!!) even if I could stand her, I am not in the mood to travel, I have to leave for New Orleans on Wednesday until Sunday and all I can think about is ... do you know how many DIY projects I can get done during that time?!?! whats a girl to do

Thanks for the compliments ladies, I did love the dress. I did resist the honeybun, but had a 5 nut brownie for desert after dinner I walked about a mile though, so I balanced it out. I have to make my list of cool places that I have to visit to give out hugs, lets see... china, Minneapolis, Ontario, England... you ladies have become my extended family and sounding boards and have this experience a LOT less scary! All of the different experiences and perspectives are extremely helpful during these crazy times. I say all that to say THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fiance and I went to Tiffany's today to pick out our wedding bands. Low and behold, I have a relative that is a manager there and has been for almost 11 years! She offered to buy our bands using her 50% off holiday discount. Say it ain't so!!!! It seems surreal now, so I will post pics when/if we get them. I meet with her to give her the cash and pick up the rings tomorrow.

I ended my day at Pronovias by meeting Elise from "Say Yes to the Dress" my favorite show now a days. She was sweet and wanted me to tell people "she looks younger in person" lol. I left Pronovias and went to Tiffany with my bridal party to pick out our wedding bands and LOW and BEHOLD I have a cousin that works there and ended up getting our bands for FIFTY PERCENT OFF!!! She was a manager and she purchased them using her holiday discount I am floating on cloud 9000

She was super nice and I really enjoyed my experience today. AND OMG I got my band today from Tiffany and my FI band for FIFTY PERCENT OFF!! The day could not have been better!!!!
