Thank you all for the positive comments, like I said, I had a ball putting it together and I wanted to make my guests feel a little spoiled for paying all of that money to travel to Cabo with all the drama with the economy and all. Juneweddingdreams--I got them from a wholesale store here in Manhattan for $6 for 12 chains. One is a flip flop and the other is a bottle opener with a bright flashlight on the end. Not bad for the price!

Pashminas, not pictured here, but in my thread on pashminas (12 for $27) at pioneer group glass-html I thing they are on 26th between 6th and Broadway, there are so many stores in a 4-6 block radius its rediculous. Hanging lanterns 12 or $27, I could go on and on. THe best thing to do is go down there wearing comfy shoes and walk the area to take it all in. Start near 28th street and 7th avenue and walk over to 6th avenue then down to 27th and walk over to broadway and keep zig zaging going down town from 6th avenue over to broadway and keep repeating until you are down on 23rd street. It will blow your mind the great wedding finds down in that area. If you plan to go on a Saturday morning if, I am free I can meet with you and show you the area... we can bring Classadiva along and make a day of it

Please don't let me buy another thing for these bags!! I am worried that all types of bells and buzzers will go off when I try to get all of this stuff on the airplane. I don't have any single males traveling, but if some start to pop out of the woodwork, I have my eye on some mexico stamped gymbags. 12 for $36 in the wholesale district here in NY. I will go in and buy as many as I need so that none of the males feel like I am trying to girlie them up with this bag that is clearly feminine. Anyhoo here is what I put together for my amazing guests that have decided to take this journey with us: For the hangover kits: a roll of tums, hangover helper pills, tylenol, aleve, bayer, shout wipes, hand sanitizer, tissue pack (i love the fact that the tissue pack has a beach scene and wording on it how appropriate , bandaids, pepto bismol pills. I created labels that say "party on we've got your back" in the same colors as my hand sanitizer labels. I packed them and forgot to take pics with the labels on. We are getting married on Vday and there will be a lot of couples in attendance so we decided to include a small Vday gift scented bath fizzer and a scented candle, I will include a cute tag on the mesh bag. Goodies: Luggage tags, postcards (vistaprint) I will include 1 addressed to us and 3 that they can send to whomever they like. I want a card that lets me know how much fun they are having in Cabo, 2 Mexico keychains, 2 stadium cups (not pictured here, but hold on they are coming,) key/tip holders, and neck lanyards that will have an note that says "events that we would like you to attend" on one side and a few planned group activities on the other side. Oh my..there is more

Please do, even though I axed those shoes, it was easy to see them both together. I have another fitting on Jan 23rd I will pose the same way with the new shoes and put up a poll asking which combination worked the best -

I know this is probably late, but next time put yellow masking tape or blue painters tape on the bottom before you walk around the house, it is easy to come off and will protect the bottom from nicks while you "break them in" also there is a clear kind of nonskid coating that you can have your "shoeguy" put on the bottom of them so that they won't slide and also protect the red. The arch portion of the shoe that is seen by most will stay red though.

Tuesday I get to go for my fitting. I cannot wait to get that dress on and see if I still love it like I did a few months ago! I am sure your 2 weddings will be more than enough ! I remember my first fitting, I was so worried that I wouldn't like it, but when I put it on after all those months, I was sooooo happy with it and loved it the same if not more than before. I am sure it will be all that you remember and more. -

I want to just enjoy Mexico while I am there and not worry about meeting this person to get poked and that person to say "ahhh" I am excited to get that part of the process over with I will be a Mrs. in one week and one day -

What are your wedding colors / wedding theme?
vdaybride replied to lalanyc's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
They both sound like great combinations. Hard choice ahead for you! I am getting married on Vday, and I LOVE the color red so I am going with apple red, ivory and chocolate brown. Good luck with your decision. You really can't go wrong with either one, but i really like the first group of colors. The pictures really pop. -
I wanted something that was different and that could be used again. I purchased these jars from a glass jar wholesaler for 17.00 for 36 for the jars and lids. I placed one of our logos on the top (attached by sticker paper) and tied a ribbon around the lid (same pattern as my OOT bags) the only thing missing is the diamond shaped sticker that will be placed on the front of the jar with the guests name and table location. I put red fish inside because its beachy, my wedding color and because I LOVE to eat these after dinner. If the guests want something sweet throughout the reception, they have it right there .
