I ordered a vase with a cork closure, I plan on filling that baby to the brim and packing it in my carry on luggage and hope for the best. I may try the melted candle wax...sounds like a good idea, but the sand will still have to be packed very tightly for that to work. I am keeping my fingers crossed for safe sand travels for us all

Being that my wedding is on Valentine's Day, I wouldn't even think on not extending the invitee to bring a plus one! I have plenty of single friends that will be attending the wedding with a plus one that I never met, but I am still excited that they will be there on my special day. I would feel "a certain way" if someone expected me to travel out of the country alone. I can understand if it is a budget issue, but I wouldn't be offended if one of my single friends decided not to come because they didn't want to travel alone. Good luck with your situation!! That's tough. Yes get the FI to handle that! lol

Thanks ladies!! I had an amazing shower and felt so blessed that I had such a great group of girls to wish me well.. we played games, ate great food and got down to the nitty gritty when the passion party demonstration began lol *angel face* it was soo much fun. I ordered a few things for the honeymoonportion of the trip Ha ha, there were 2 huge Tiffany boxes for me..great eyes you have. We received great glassware and silverware from my new favorite store. I also received TONS of gift cards and cash a great nonstick set of Calphalon pots and 2 one hr massage gift certificates..yippee Krista, your dress is gorgeous on you, your smile lets me know that you already know that . I am also dancing with the hubby to "At last" it will be 8 years total in April was the hold up!?!? I love "Daddy" by Beyonce, makes me cry. My dad is a rare breed, so this song is perfect for him. I am getting married at Dreams Cabo in just a few weeks. I have only worked with the onsite coordinatiors and they have been GREAT. I have to admit that when my wedding was several months away, emails were slower responded to, but they were always answered. As the time grew near for my wedding, the response time picked up and so did my confidence with choosing to use the onsite coordinators. I wouldn't waste the money on hiring someone to do the job that is included with the "free" package. I was able to choose the vendors that I wanted and I am confident that my wedding will be beautiful.
