That is so nice of them!!! I know of a great make up artist in New York her name is Sade, she actually manufactures all of her makeup and body products she is GREAT and I love her products. The website is under construction, but all of her products are great! Sade Skincare - Cosmetics for Women of Color. I am sure if you let her know what you are trying to do, she will travel to do your makeup. She is great.. good luck!

Hi girls!! I have solved the hair drama! I decided to use HIGHLY recommended Suzanne Morel to do my hair and makeup. U sent them inspiration pics and I feel confident I will look fabulous on my wedding day... no more sobbing for me!!! My friend that was supposed to come to do my hair decided to give me a "hair" gift She will create human clip in hair extensions for me for free..this is a savings!! Those things cost from 200-600 depending on who you get to do them...SCORE! SHe will do my hair the day before I leave so that I am cute for my Mexico debut Make up inspiration pic Hair inspiration pic I also have a video of my favorite New York makeup artist applying makeup on my face to send them. Armed with all of this ammo, I better look good!! haha Raykel.. I completely agree with you. I wouldn't want them as a witness either.. You have my support sista! Hello my lovlies.. Broooooke! I LOVE the dress.. I would definitely let down that bustle!! It looks so good on you.. jealous of that tiny waist.. I have been working out and stressing a bit over the BM situation.. lost 2 lbs. that is NOT good though..they let out my dress a bit so it would fall right in the front and now I am scared to put it on lol..if it fits huge, I have no time to do anything about it. Any hoo.. not even going to worry about that! it will all work out. Tricia--they picked the wrong color, if they switch out the pink for a darker/brighter pink I think it would look better. There was this one watch at Tiffany’s that he has been drooling over, but we decided that he would wait until March to purchase it . I snuck and purchased it for him.. he has NO clue and he is gonna LOVE it. My bridesmaid will deliver it to him on our wedding day. I also did a boudoir shoot for him, I loved it and I hope he loves it too

Hand wrapped fans for ceremony I will attach the program to the fans, but I am still working on them..my last DIY project Seat reservation cards These will be attached to the chairs by red ribbon. I will have them on the ceremony chairs as well as the reception area chairs. Sometime common sense is not so common for some folks! I also LOVE the way they look in wedding pics. The rings.. Engagement ring couldn’t get a good pic of it on my hand to save my life! Wedding bands Mine His I purchased my dress from Pronovias here in New York, my sales person was Carmel who used to work at Klienfield in NY and as seen on “Say Yes to the Dress†Dress on a model Dress on me I am taking this jacket to put on during the reception if I get chilly.. the red is the exact color of my shoes.. thought it might be cute together. If it doesn’t look as good as I think it does in my head, I won’t wear it lol. (Elise is a manager at Pronovias now..she also used to work at Kleinfield here in NY) or she could be working for both..who knows. I also have a pic with Carmel, but she wasn’t looking her best (in the pic) and I didn’t want to throw her under the bus ☺ **Side note** These pictures are during my first fitting, the dress fits perfectly now, but I didn’t have my camera on the final fitting.. I know..shame on me. Grooms attire Chris is having his suit custom made at the Polo Mansion here in New York..I was not with him during his fitting and he is not one to whip out the camera and have someone take a pic ☹..I will attach a pic when we pick it up this Saturday, don’t know if he will be in it when I snap it, he is not camera happy like I am lol. It is a linen/silk blend in a dark sand color.

For Christmas we go skiing and stay at Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid NY. A few years ago we had our usual suite. I was feeling a little sick so I said I would lie down before we went out for dinner. During the time I was napping, he ordered room service and had the bathroom all set up with a bubble bath rose petals and candles. We sat down to eat dinner, I opened my covered plate to find the cutest little blue box ☺ of course I said yes…
