also, you hair looked great- did you get it done on the resort? any tips? I'm still trying to figure out my hair do.
Hi girlie!! He said that he loved the album, but honestly his eyes DID NOT light up as much as they did when he saw that watch I had for him sad.gif lol I think it was the make up, it did look a little draggish is a few of the pics. He loved the womanly parts in those pics, but my face could have been bare and he would have been happier.. MEN! I think I looked at that book more than he did since I gave it to himsmile27.gif I could have used that BD money for some new Loubs smile35.gif haha.. but that watch!! he has not stopped wearing it or showing it off to all who will look at it.

I researched the best hair and makeup team in Cabo and had them come to my room and do my hair and makeup. I took a lot of hair and make up pics with me and I was happy with the final product. All of that worrying and stressing for nothing lol. I am sure you will be fine! I had my hairstylist make some clip in pieces for me and the stylist there was comfortable working with them.
  2. YAY!! I got my professional pic slide show emailed to me at midnight :) there are 215 in the slideshow and over 1500 additional shots. If I had a do-over, I would have taken more shots with our daughter alone. She was so excited for the special day and so far I have no shots of just her and I or of just her and her dad. I don't know what the mass majority of the pics look like so maybe we did take those shots, I just don't remember them. Also, I wish I had taken some with my parents individually. Oh well, the day was perfect and I won't cry over the "mistakes" I think we made. Now I can't wait for that video. I did good not to cry during the photo slideshow, but the video just might make me shed a few. I will post them later. I am sooooo late for work. Talk with you later lovlies

I am a food snob too and I had no complaints about the food. Check the reviews of the food for the resort. It was amazing. I was NEVER hungry :)

Krista, I have to agree with Breens... we all realized that we shouldn't have worried so much, but that's what you do as a bride to be! You'll think the same thing. It's great to get so much accomplished, way to go girl.

So, if everyone is on FB I need some emails. I found Brooke and Susie...
Hello my fellow Feb. Brides ..

Yay Krista!! Thanks for the friend invite :)

Tricia, I love your siggy pic!.. my email is [email protected]

I miss you girls. After all the newlywed dust settles, we need to start planning our meet up :)

Yes, I think the paisley looked more expensive than the plain ones. I had paisley ivory and red and the brown were plain. I loved the paisley ivory ones.
  7. You will probably have to just fold it over (in half) inside the bag and hope for the best. I would definitely NOT check it in with the other luggage. Although, I did check my dress in on the way back because I was tired and didn't want to deal with it for my connecting flight back. I worried about it during both flights! One of the planes was teeny tiny and I had to STUFF the dress in an overhead compartment, my heart skipped three beats! good luck with your decision

Awww Danielle you are so sweet! The day was seriously the best day besides the day I had our daughter. Everything was perfect once we step foot on Mexican soil lol. Your day is fast approaching and will be absolutely perfect I am sure!

Hi Diva (with a finger snap) lol yes, I had a professional photographer and videographer. I never set a budget for pics, I just knew I didn't want to go any where NEAR 5K for pics!! Pics are REALLY important for me though. This only happens once in our lives (if we are lucky) I never wanted to regret not having this special time in our lives documented properly. For us it was definitely a great investment. If budget is a concern, maybe you can cut back in other areas. Maybe do some DIY projects instead of buying them already done..I say it is worth the investment girlie.. good luck! Keep me posted on what you decide!
  10. What I have experienced that the "in the mirror" look might be overkill, but on camera it is NICE. They have to put more on than what you would walk around with so that it will pick up nicely on camera. If you didn't take a picture with you, it was kinda unfair for you to assume that she would know what your interpretation of natural was. I would take pics of what you like your make up to look like rather than waste the deposit only to try someone else. IMO take pics of what you want and start early so that you will have enough time for them to get it right! Good luck

  11. Hi ladies!! Just popping in to say hello and that I miss you all!!! I am settling back into the routine, but realize that we need a bigger place. I have sooooo many wine glasses, I am thinking of opening a pub and an alcoholics anonymous clinic in the same space.

I am really enjoying having my hubby's last name :) I haven't ventured to the social security office yet, but everything else is all switched over. I also can't wait to see the professional product, video or pics. I need to make sure all those fees were worth it! lol

  12. I paid 2450 for 7 hrs on the day of the wedding unlimited shooting. Then the next day she came to pick us up for some downtown San Jose shots for about 2 hrs. 300 images in an online album, edited. Rights to over 2000 images and the option to purchase an album at a discounted rate. We used Gilda Badillo for photography. We used Baja Video productions for the entire ceremony and reception video and paid $1350. In my opinion, worth every penny. I haven't seen either finished product, but from what I have seen, they all did a great job. Pics and video are the most important thing besides your honey. Memories fade, but pics and video if you are lucky will last forever.

Thank you! The best thing that I did was set up a photobucket account and give all of my guests the password. I had all of my guests upload the pics and now I have over 400 non professional pics! I would highly recommend it!

Thanks ladies for all of the kind words!!
