i am an Iberostar Rose Hall Suits bride and I am getting married on Sunday November 14th and Sun Gold (Paula and Damien) will be my photographers..

I have spoken with Nicole and she has advised that if you are doing a private event then there is an additional charge for open bar. If you want top shelf there will be an additional charge to the open bar price.

Hey all you Iberostar ladies, what florist have you decided to go with?

I have paid for my bridesmaid dresses, there are 4 of them. They are from David's Bridal and were $79 plus tax. They will be paying for any alternations. I also will be buying them a gift. I feel since I am asking them to pay so much to fly to the destination it would be a nice gesture. However I have been in 3 weddings where I had to pay for the gowns and had no issue in do so as it is standard practice. I say what ever you choose to do will be great!

I know how you feel! I am going to wear a white orchid in my hair since it get's really windy on the beach and I don't want to be fussing with a veil while saying my vows.

OMG I got the same dress and I am getting married at the Rose Hall Suites! I love the sash did you get that at the bridal store or elsewhere. I love it and want to get one myself! Also, would you mind sharing the cost of the arch flowers & centerpieces?

OMG, That response that they sent is awful!! My FI has a linen suite from Men’s Warehouse and it looks fantastic. Thanks for the post and best of luck on your search!

I agree with Nicyx, they probably want you to take your license to the notary and the stamp will confirm that you are who you say you are. You can find a notary at any lawyers, real estate or insurance office. It's usually a nominal fee like $10. Good luck!

Hello fellow Rose Hall Suites Brides. Does ANYONE know what the Standard Suites "garden view" rooms look like? Any input would be appreciated!

I am glad to see that I am not the only one having all these issues. I am the last of my immediate family to get married. My two other sisters got beautiful expensive weddings at home. My parents have told my FI and me that they are tapped out. We didn’t want to go broke over a wedding so we decided to do a destination wedding. My two best friends (who I wanted to be bridesmaids) have told me that they will not be attending due to their financial situations. My parents are also not excited over the idea. Everyone on my side is giving me grief over the cost. I feel so sad that my FI has so many supportive people on his end and on my side I am getting so much resistance. I wanted to call the whole thing off but I read this thread and I now know the most important thing is that a DW is what my FI and I want and that’s all that counts!
